i've been considering getting one because i have issues with my mouse cord getting stuck behind my desk and constricting movement from time to time

I had the same issue with my cord falling behind my desk. I just got a piece of tape and taped my mouse cord to my desk with a reasonable amount of play so I could move it without issue and it's working so far.

I just use a bit of tape on the cord, works fine tbh.

as you probably noticed, i use a mouse bungee. the reason being the braided cord on my mouse was fraying against the back of my desk. i dont really even use the bungee like it's supposed to (i only have part of the cord in it), but it's nice to keep my cord away from the desk. i'd recommend doing something about it, but i gotta say this thing was kinda expensive ($20)

the sound coming from my 598s sounds way more clear and is much easier to fine tune
the bass boost switch on the back is fuck all useless though, don't bother trying to use it
