Is it possible to have one of the unused servers changed to a duplicate of MGE iT? Many peoples' matches, including my own, are on Dallas or Chicago servers. It would be nice to have more MGE slots with that kind of ping.

Is there a problem? MGE iT and the reddit mge servers are the only ones that are always full. I'd like to join a less full server but there's no reason for me to join a California server as I don't play matches or scrims on that server.

Either use MGE iT West or wait for an open slot on MGE iT. MGE is supposed to be practice so you shouldn't be bothered with high ping.

There are 4 MGE servers.
reddit - eastern - always full
MGE iT - mid - always full
MGE iT west - west - almost always empty
MGE Mod Los Angeles - west - usually only a few players
And then we have 6 DM servers with 4 of them empty, and 1 with only 2 players.
The only full servers are mid to eastern MGE servers. One of the other servers should switch over to an MGE server not on the west coast.

it's pretty retarded that there still isn't an mge dallas and people have to use the levig server to mge.

Or you could go into the server browser in tf2, sort by map, and add to favorites the 20 mge servers that aren't listed on this website. There are usually a handful of people playing in each one at odd times of the day.
Or get a buddy who is better than you to play mge with you a bunch and you can do it on your own server and you'll improve a lot faster than playing pyros on the reddit mge server.
Or you could play dm since you pointed out how there are "6 DM servers" as dm works just as well as mge.
Or you could pug.

Mmmm mario doesn't seem to be wrong here. The west coast servers are barely used. And why, so people who live in Cali can practice there with 10 ping? But they play their matches in Dallas anyway... so why not have the server in Dallas so it serves a wider area and provides a more realisitc ping experience?

RedTerror's DM server is usually like half full. There are a ton of MGE servers out there, just not in tf.tv's server list. I'd go into your server browser and look for any mge server (just sort by map) that has ping >100 for you. I found 3 MGE servers that way that aren't on this website's list.

People don't connect to MGE iT West because the map never restarts unless the sever is power cycled. So, after an hour or two it gets choppy and lags a lot.
