I had a great time at LAN meeting people and finally putting faces to everyone's alias. I think our team played a lot better than expected and I'm glad I was able to play a match on roamer to experience the mythical LAN rockets.

It was an incredible experience

I already broke the stand on the tf2 trophy haahahhaha gonna have to glue it back together haha

The knobs on the back unscrew so you can separate the base and the trophy. Sadly, they don't tell you that ahead of time.

I wasn't trying to separate it, I straight up tried to pull it out of my bag and the stand snapped

I'm so exhausted and tired, but it was worth it. A massive thanks to everyone who came out. It was an amazing time and I can't wait for the next time.

All of you are awesome.

This was my first LAN and I had a really fun time. Next time I will be sure to get off from work to attend on the first day. It was great to meet mostly everyone who attended for the TF2 teams, I probably missed a few dudes here and there cause I was only there for the Saturday tournament and I got there a little late.

Really nice to meet lucrative, Fragile, goldfish, radium, spaceghost, Morin, marm and the whole sparkle Gang crew who I found except June. :( Some really fun and enjoyable matches.
Thanks to my teammates Br0nze and Blanc guys (Hedge, Charis, Nite, Nazara). Same to Alexandros for helping me move my stuff when I changed seats.

I will 100% go to any future LANs at that venue. Fun times.

ps..Did anyone else find it weird that the bathroom labeled "women's" was the one with the urinals? I have to assume they were not working and the venue ppl did not want guys peeing inside them.

Coming all the way from Nebraska was an experience in itself. Then came the actual lan and, oh man, was it incredibly fun and exciting. I'd recommend sleeping on the floor for the full lan experience like Jugg and I did on the first day.

Moving past that; a giant thanks to everyone I met. You were all amazingly nice people to meet and now I have faces for the names. Perhaps the only complaints I had was the wooden tables and how incredibly loud the speakers were for any announcements or out of game events going on. I just remember while pugging and playing the tournaments, even in the grand finals, it was so loud that I couldn't hear anything in game and it gave me a raging headache. Though I guess it evens out because everyone has to deal with it

All in all, worth the 19 hour drive there. Sorry for the nerd essay I'm in the car with nothing better to do right now.

why were u in the womens bathroom..

Good question, the staff were cleaning the Mens Restroom at the time and had us use the womens restroom until it was clean again.

The women's bathroom had three stalls, while the men's bathroom had one stall and one urinal. We switched the signs because there's like <10 women.

just wanted to thank morin so much for takin' me to my first lan ever. i had such a fun time meeting everyone especially close friends that i've known for so long w/o meeting, i'm already super sad that i won't see them in person again until next lan or wheneva.

What a phenomenal LAN, I couldn't have had more fun. Truly incredible to meet so many people from the community and for all of them to be super nice and chill people, no matter who they were. Id like to give a HUGE thanks The Fragile for running the event and tournament, its people like him that keep this community going. Special thanks to Children of the Corn, Redshirt, Spyromancer, Jojo (and brother, cant remember his alias), Xanadu, and truktruk for being amazing to meet in person. Had a ton of fun playing games, and being accepted, despite not being known to a lot of the community. Looking forward to the next LAN, cu@ and expect more market gardening (especially marmaduke and golleywobler).

Once again, I also need to thank drshdwpuppet for helping with running the servers. Whether it's the tournament servers, pug servers, or even MGE servers, he continues to be an incredibly important component to the flow and success to these TF2 tournaments we have here. I will never be able to thank him enough for coming out to these events, even when he had to struggle to take off of work or even when he hurt his leg. Things would be much more difficult without him, but instead, he makes my already stressful weekend a hell of a lot easier.

Shylo is attempting to master his 1000 accents on the ride home. We have an 18 hour drive...send help
