reilly2sy_morphiendreillyWhile this threads still alive, I guess I'll ask: Why do invite matches always have to be so late?

Seriously, not everyone can stay up so late to watch people play video games. Real sport games generally start at 8-10, which is a good time. Almost everyone would be home, but no one's gone to bed yet.

Because TF2 players have jobs outside of their hobby?
How many people work late, every single night? I understand, maybe working an over shift at a restaurant, I used to have to do that. But in that case it's never every single night. It can be scheduled around. I can understand if players are west coast and working.

If they are west coast however, and don't work, but rather choose they don't want to play video games until later then that is their fault. And it is something that will hurt stream views, IMO.

To be completely honest this is a complete oversight on your part. Thousands and thousands of people work late hours or have unpredictable on call shifts...

I understand. I'm not trying to say what has to happen, it certainly won't happen. Rather, I'm saying it something that will help stream views, and should be taken into consideration. I'm sure there are games that can be played at earlier times, and I think the players should consider it.

2sy_morphiendI'm sure people don't want to play their matches at 6 pm because they're west coast and they just have to do it for the stream viewers.

I know, but this thread, like many others, turned into a discussion about growing the game in terms of stream viewers, so that's what I'm talking about. I know there are players who don't seem to care if the game grows, and it is very much their choice to do whatever they want.
