Question to streamers:how much data do you upload?

So I've decided to use some birthday money and upgrade my computer, which means I'll most likely be able to stream TF2. However, my school limits bandwidth usage; while downloads are capped at 100 GB/wk (pretty generous), uploads are something like 20-40. It's still a lot, but I was wondering if anybody have an average weekly upload usage for streaming in 720+?

I can imagine seanbud, Lange, TrukTruk's stream being a data hog. They stream daily and long periods at that at high quality. Whereas, I think somebody like Tagg streams every now and then with some decent, watchable video quality. I'd expect it to be a lot of data depending on how much you're streaming.

Yes, I know that. My question was how much.

I could calculate it out, but there are so many variables to consider I just wanted a rough estimate; just something a bit finer than "a lot".

I presume it'll just come down to what bit rate you will be streaming at.

(bit rate in kibibits)/1024/8*60*60 MiB

Some quick searching suggests that 2500 or so is adequate for streaming in 720p, so you'd be looking at roughly 1.1 GiB per hour.

The 12-hour VOD from the first day of ESEA LAN is 6.56 GB. 2200 video/192 audio bitrate.
