I have used many mice and at the moment I'm using the g303 and the clicks and sensor are great but the shape as many know is retarded and not ergonomic at all so I would like a mouse with the same quality but better shape. Recommendations are appreciated

The g303 currently has the best sensor on the market besides the g502 but the g502's design is also not great

Mice I would currently reccomend:
DA 2013/Chroma or w/e
Zowie FK1 or ZA series
Steelseries Rival 100 if you have really thin hands
Mionix Castor

The DA has pretty good ergonomic shape, isn't too expensive, is an overall solid mouse with solid sensor, really just depends if you want to deal with razer products (i.e synapse)

Zowie FK1 and ZA series are both great, flawless sensors with good build quality and no driver crap but have huano switches which are a lot stiffer to click compared to just about every other mouse out there, also lean towards the expensive side, shapes are both good just depends how big your hand is

Rival 100 has solid build quality, price, and good sensor but has odd DPI steps compared to most mice and the shape/design of the mouse is very thin and the buttons are placed very far down the mouse making it uncomfortable imo but it could suit you

The Castor has pretty some of the best build quality of any mice I've ever used, flawless sensor, solid mouse design and shape, no wonky software or dpi steps, but also the most expensive or one of the most expensive mice on this list

It's a shame the g303's shape is so bad because it would be my all time favorite mouse if it wasn't

I've used a lot of mice, and I have never used one I prefer over the Deathadder. It's just, perfect. For me anyway.

It is really personal preference (which no one wants to hear but it's true) but if you get something in the zowie family or a deathadder you can't go wrong.

I used a deathadder for a year and had nonstop problems with both the mouse itself and its drivers and ive heard other people have too, but when it works its definitely a great mouse.
Just replaced it with a zowie fk1 and im happy with it so far

There's like 30 or so mice with 'flawless' sensors, within those find a mouse with a shape that YOU like.

I've owned five mice (Deathadder, G1001s, FK 14, G303, EC2-A) and have always preferred the Zowie over everything else. Great sensors, excellent build quality, and no awful drivers/software. There's a reason why almost every single CS:GO pro without a hardware sponsor uses Zowie mice.

posh_are the ec1-a or ec2-a any good?

Ec1-a is god tier if you like mid to large sized ergonomic mice. Pretty similar shape to the deathadder and pretty light.

+1 for logitech g400(s)

Deathadder and Zowie FK are both very good too but its also personal preference. I currently use a logitech g400s and probably will never use a different mouse ever unless they stop making it.

been using the finalmouse 2015 summer edition after using the deathadder for about 2/3 years and it's been great. when I used the deathadder, sometimes my thumb tended to slip off the mouse grip and it was annoying. switching over to the finalmouse, the shape of the mouse along with a thumb rest makes it difficult for the mouse to slip and it's light, responsive and tbh I prefer it over the deathadder.

note: i use a claw grip / I have pretty big hands

Daggerzowie fk, deathadder 2013, logitech g400, are some of the best

The Mionix Castor has better build quality than the zowie FK and is lighter than the g400 and DA 2013. Unfortunatly it is very expensive.

Re: DeathAdder, it's great in general but it can have quality problems. See an old thread I found here: http://www.teamfortress.tv/6261/the-razer-mousewheel-problem

My Chroma started doing that recently too and from looking over reviews & such, it's a common issue. Also about 1/20-1/10 times it will send two scroll inputs for a single wheel notch click.

Also I'm pretty sure the USB cord has a flaw somewhere now because every once in awhile now (very rarely) it'll stop responding to input if I bend it a certain way. Will probably go with non-Razer when I eventually replace it.

Zowie FK series mice are really solid in terms of build quality and performance. Deathadders are nice but Razer's software that goes with them is horrible to work with and very frustrating to get working correctly.
