I spent most of my time this summer swimming, wake-boarding and moving to my new college. Also some TF2 on rainy days. I also visited two great guys I know from etf2l (pete & joshi) in Austria

i explored the northern part of Quebec city with my mountain bike for a couples rides.
at some point i got lost in the woods and it was raining.
pretty scary moment because i didnt know if i was riding deeper into the trails or going back the way home
when i had no water left and i finally found my way back, the feeling was REALLY good...

Played the least TF2 than past summers. Joined a coding bootcamp. Got jumped by a geese. Bought a grill. Hung out with old e-pals for a week. KBBQ'd for 3 hours. Traveled to another coast and around my backyard. Caught a zillion fishies with consistency. Many firsts.

It's an old Brodie Catalyst 2000 in Steel (Tange Prestige). All the parts are custom they didnt came with the frame. Id say i put maybe 2000$ on the bike... since it's full XT, with very good wheels. It's worth WAY less today maybe 1000, because bikes have changed a lot. It weight around 24 pounds and i like it. Good quality mountain bikes today worth a LOT if you want it under 23 pounds. (Maybe 3500$+) Sometimes, it's not worth the money, you just need to lose 3-4 pounds of fat and your good to go! Also, disc brakes are overrated for XC riding, they require a lot of maintenance. (Id say if you are over 175 pounds it may be worth it tho)

I worked a publishing company for law books and re-did big chunks of a book called Forensic Pathology in its 4th edition. Made $$$ to pay my school bills for my last semester and had $$ left over. I went from Open to SUPER Open. I worked out and lowered my body fat percentage and upped my body muscle percentage/lost 15 pounds.

I was able to play rugby in South Africa which was sick, the teams there are mad about school spirit so it was pretty exhilarating playing with 400 people watching you instead of 20 back in the UK. I also went to Reading Festival last week which was a great way to round off a fun summer.

Interrailed through europe for a month and met a lot of internet friends on the way. After coming back I renovated an apartment with family and moved into it.

Wrote a functional interpreter/compiler for lisp. It was the largest project I had ever made, and I learnt a lot about computers and the C language. Plus, fixing a bug after countless hours of debugging was very emotional ;_;

I have less than a week left until school and I haven't finished any summer assignments, so there's that. I did everything but that.

orbitGraduated from my university as the outstanding graduate in Astronomy at the beginning of summer. I've been taking it kinda easy since then.

Could there be more to this story? ;)

---
Highlight of my summer was hanging with a friend and randomly stumbling across a game of D&D that needed two more players. We hadn't seen each other for like two years and ended up role playing with random strangers & beer. Quality.
Also, 503 LAN with the Portland Burnsiders! :D

In short, I did nothing this summer.
