I have $20-$40 to spend. Is there any earbuds that will be of decent quality in that price range, or should I just stick with headphones?

i got those headphones over 2 years ago, they still work just like new. really light weight, great sound quality, really warm and rich lows and mids the bass response is just on point. its a steal for the price. highly recommend them. sennheiser always puts out quality products

I used to have a pair of HD202s and they were amazing for the price. They can be kinda tight on your head, but if you have that issue just put them over two or three books or something to stretch them overnight.

100% headphones. buds/iems aren't as good, especially at that price. defy's are a good choice or you could go for koss portapros (but they leak hella noise so if you need it to be quiet for others maybe not a good option.)

You can buy virtual ones and wear them on all 9 of your classes in TF2... That's around 30 bucks I hear.

I get headphone hair though, which is why I'm wondering if there was any decent earbuds at the price. I have headphones for my PC, these are just for listening to music, etc.

_get a nice pair of earbuds for like 40 bucks and save up for a nice pair of headphones

Not bad advice at all

Saving up for better headphones in the future could do wonders, and you could even find one with a sound signature to your liking.
