I played this game at a lan at my friends house and force pushing each other into walls over and over was some of the most fun ive ever had. Its so cool this is alive holy shit.
You can also change your game's gamma by changing mat_monitorgamma in your config to a higher number which will make the game darker (2.6 is the max value). This only works in fullscreen mode

This is legitimately why I think hes an incredible horror director. His films capture EXACTLY what my nightmares feel like.
I had a really bad set of nightmares last week.
The first was really fucking creepy. I ordered food to where I live and when the guy came to deliver it I recognized him. That doesn't initially seem like a particularly scary thing but it wasn't a type of recognition like he was someone I'd met before.
I recognized him with this weird familiarity and dread, like he was someone I recognized despite having never seen before, or I'd only seen him subconsciously around like he was following me, irl or in the background of my dreams. In any case I had an incredibly strong feeling that this person that I felt was so familiar wished me a lot of harm.
What happened next was that this motherfucker SMILED at me like he knew I knew and started to walk towards me. I actually woke up shouting at that point.
I then fell back asleep and had a dream about a really troubled kid I knew back in school digging up recently deceased bodies and eating them. That dream actually managed to be a lot less scary than the first one somehow and I slept through it.
This game is extremely good people should play it if they somehow havent already.
