Someone should email Eric Smith asking to add a button linking to playcomp.tf though. They've been more receptive to HL than 6es in the past and I can understand why they wouldn't want to support a company like ESEA but that site just states facts and info about the two gamemodes and covers all the leagues.
The only reason Valve has to not support comp tf2 in a very passive way would be if they were going to release their own form of competitive gamemode using their own meta. If that's the case I think they will need to work with the current leagues anyway as they'd be splitting their own community pretty hard from the start if they didn't.

Not a huge fan of dnb, like some of it but would have liked to have seen some more complex drum patterns.

Would donate to a fundraiser for players coming from basically anywhere outside of Europe unless they're significantly worse than the european teams to a degree that they can't even compete. This community is generous, if there are people who are willing to go if they're funded I don't see the point in not having a fundraiser. The worst that can happen is it doesn't meet the goal and they don't get to go anyway.
I don't really care that much about baud being banned. I just find it really funny that there's an image hosting website associated with noelisme because I have no idea why that's needed.
Aren't accuracy stats just (dmg done)/((shots fired)*(potential dmg per shot))? In that case aren't sniper logs accuracy basically the only thing you can trust fully because even if you aimbot you can't hit all the scattergun pellets from far enough away?
Pretty sure that's why you can get >100% accuracy on weapons because of splash damage/afterburn.
I wouldn't go off single logs alone- long term averages are fine but you can have ridiculous games. Also logs sometimes fuck up and give you weird numbers. Pretty sure Ive had a log with 1600 dpm on scout and one with 120% accuracy on sniper. If someone is getting these numbers every game though it's worth looking into.
rip having fullbright maps, my game is so dark now :(
6es offers a shitload as a competitive gamemode but the only way I'd ever see anyone taking it seriously would be if valve or someone else made a standalone game based around the mode. Mechanically it has a ton of potential and 5cp isn't something that's really there in anything else which is what makes it cool but as long as it's tied to tf2 valve won't want to support it, and people will look down on it.
Don't you only stick there for a short amount of time though? Can use it to avoid fall damage in some spots I've noticed but if you're only up there for a few seconds wont people see the roamer jumping up there anyway? Or is it possible to stay there longer by holding the right keys?
Sad I had to leave tonight rather than tomorrow but back home. Loved playing with and talking to everyone there and am already missing you all, even though I barely got to play tf2 the games that I watched were some of the greatest I've ever seen, and the atmosphere around the stage was incredible.
Also glad to have provided Shade with potatoes and a Disney Princesses Cake with the faces of NA players replacing those of the princesses.
Having been there, generally the feeling in the hall on the night was great, very pro epsi but I guess when in europe the european team is going to get the support. It's a real shame if players were being harassed, I saw one drunk guy trying to take selfies with Mike and KnoxXx before the game and being really awkward and kind of refusing to go away which was unfortunate (he wasn't actually saying anything bad it was just really obvious they didn't want him to be there). All the games I watched epsi, froyo, aws and iM played prior to that had very civil spectators though. As to the tape thing, there's barely space in the isles as it is. I'm sitting in the same row as epsi and it's been practically impossible to get in and out half the time due to the number of spectators, there's like 4ft between epsi's chairs and the row of chairs in the row behind and people have been pulling extra chairs in to watch. It's actually really great being able to go up to the players and watch quietly from behind whilst chatting to friends, but it is pretty easily abusable.
