I think my cat is dying and i don't know what to do. She has been peeing blood for a while now and i have no idea what to do. I can't afford to take her to vet and everyone i know doesn't like cats. Please help i don't want this cat to die.
yeah i just wanted to see if anyone had any experiences with this kind of thing, srry
I am not 100% sure about cats, but with humans the most common (and benign) cause for bloody urine are UTIs and crystals in the urine/ureters.
If your cat isn't showing signs of serious illness (increased lethargy, poor appetite, strange behaviour that may indicate pain), then you may be able to get away with giving your cat wet food and trying to increase its water intake so as to dilute the urine and help with things like crystals and cystitis. However, for UTI, antibiotics are needed and that requires seeing a vet.
Overall, if you don't want your cat to suffer and possibly die, I would see a vet. It may be as simple as changing the cat's diet and starting a 4-6 week antibiotic regimen. Unfortunately this is part of pet ownership and owning a pet without the funds to see a vet is pretty irresponsible.

no really, follow what he said. it's going to be tough but only the vet will really be able to know for sure what's up. i went through this recently with my own cats and i had to switch their food over to urinary SO.
good luck man.

Yeah i understand. It's really hard to set a cat up for adoption where i live because not really many people want them for some reason
Give her moist food and put some more water in it. DONT GIVE DRY FOOD. My cat pissed bloody once and this helped really quick

Cranberries and cranberry pills are sometimes used as a natural treatment alternative to prescription antibiotics for humans for treating UTI's. But I'm not sure about for cats. I agree the cat should probably see a vet, but you might want to research natural treatments of UTI's for pets. Maybe some cranberries or something will cure your cat who knows.
i know two cats who died, and they both died in similar fashion. my cat died because she just stopped eating, and eventually passed away after a week or so. my cousins cat died almost the exact same way. i dont believe your cat is dying, but you need to take her/him to a vet
GO SEE THE VET
I had a cat that had urinary issues and it wound up being liver failure, he had to be put down because we didn't get him to the vet soon enough
you're not an expert, the internet is probably not an expert, tftv is definitely not an expert

This thread makes me sad :(

a few years ago my 15 y/o dog was peeing blood and it was a liver problem.
Sounds like something that happened to my cat, fortunately for us all we had to do was switch up his diet to a special bladder diet or whatever it's called and he is still fine. However I'll rehash what everyone else said and say that a vet is the best bet.
Either way take your cat to the vet, theres no way you can diagnose the cat and treat it yourself. Vets go to uni for 6 years for this shit. Hope its ok though.
Most large animal shelters have cheap clinics and will treat your animal and let you make payments. That is how i got my kitten treated when he had bloody diarrhea.
Allso don't give your cat dry food. That shit causes urinary tract problems. If you are cheap purina is pretty good @50 cents a can. 1$ for a large can.

It always warms my heart when people show empathy for animals.
go to the vet and explain your situation, they will for sure help
Is dry food really bad for your cat? I've been feeding my cat dry food for years and he's fine

Yes
Have you ever heard a cat passing a kidney stone? Not pleasant.

My friend (a cat lover) said that most cities have free or cheap vets that are run by volunteers. So maybe look into that if you can't afford a traditional vet.
