#5 Mumble issues in Hardware
_KermitHave you reinstalled the audio drivers for your motherboard?

I did indeed, still wasnt working.

Figured out it's to do with my sound card software. Asus Xonar AE. If its active it stops only mumble from working but every other voice app works. Guess I'm just going to have to disable it if I wanna use mumble unless someone has a fix

row_Have you tried fiddling about with the audio wizard in mumble? I had this issue ages ago and changing the thresholds in "volume tuning" and "voice activity detection" in the audio wizard fixed it.

I have, doesnt detect anything at all. Have also tried reinstalling mumble and deleting the AppData to remove settings and still nada :(

#1 Mumble issues in Hardware

Hi,
having some real issues with mumble. My microphone (and any I try to use - 5 in total - USB, mic only, combo jack, bluetooth and even webcam) just wont be picked up by mumble.

All microphones I've tried to use are picked up by my PC, it shows that they're working, can be used in discord and work fine. However, when I try mumble I can select them as a device but they will not pick up ANY sound - whether its PTT, continuous or activity.

Windows doesn't even say that mumble is using my microphone (in the bottom right tray, where it says if apps are using your microphone when launched)

I have disabled the "allow applications to take exclusive control of the device" setting as well. I have also tried closing discord as well while using mumble.

Not sure if its me being dumb or there's a setting somewhere I don't know about.

This is a new PC and mumble has never worked on it thus far, but the mics did previously work in mumble.

From toornament seeds 1-8 start in WB (assuming this is the invite teams) and seeds 9-16 start in LB (assuming these are from open)

#18 Making a mix server sucks and I suck pls help in Off Topic

Ngl if your friends are putting you in awkward positions re: bans/timeouts on mixes etc and they don't understand/appreciate that because they have the mentality of "well Rah is my friend so I'll just be unbanned" then they're not being very good "friends"

Why is this all being classed as shit talk when it isn't lol.

Personal attacks don't count as shit talk, they count as you being a dick.

I didn't like that this thread made me look at my TF2 mercenary medal and that I've been playing the same game for nearly 11 years

Even with a 10 grid place penalty I dont think it would be impossible for the merc to catch the pack.

Unpopular opinion but I think the rule isn't a bad one.

When a wheel is being changed and gunned on it has to be attached firmly and once that's done the pit crew member can say their step is complete.

This rule is saying that if they complete their stage (Gunning on) and give the signal within 150ms of each other then it's registered as incomplete as its seen as not possible to react this quickly for this process and therefore the pit crew member must have essentially gave their signal for the process to be complete before it actually was . And therefore they have to repeat the step because its possible that actually that wheel isn't on correctly.

I don't know the rules ins and out but I'm assuming that somewhere it already says that the wheel has to be secure and then for the signal to be given so unless RedBull aren't doing this currently its not gonna change their pit stop times.

I don't believe for a second that this is some sort of Mercedes conspiracy nor do I believe its to nerf RedBull. If anything I would believe this is pressure from Pirelli.
