acclessOne important thing: When I did the test for the first time, 2 categories had the same score. I think I was either an ENFJ or an ENTJ. The latter's description is what I read first and it was far off. ENFJ again described very personal and accurate things about me.
What I'm trying to get at is that if the profile description doesn't seem to fit, look and see if one of your traits is only moderately expressed and pick a profile where the other trait factors in. It can make all the difference and the test's creator(s) actually encourage that. No test is perfect and tests that are aware of that are awesome.

yeah it looks like if i'd answered 1-2 questions differently i'd be an ESFP instead of and ESFJ, and the two could not be more different. I happened to be on the right side of my answers but it's definitely interesting how a couple answers can change everything on these tests

It's annoying how everything is "yes" or "no." Like sometimes I prefer reading a book to going out and socializing, but not all the time. And sometimes my desk is neat and organized, but during hectic times, it is not. I do appreciate psychology and personality classifications, but an internet test that is yes/no with less than 100 questions isn't wowing me.

Eh its just to point you in the right direction. Personally I think this test http://cognitivequiz.com/quiz.html is more helpful, and really the best way to figure it out is to A: take the real test, or B: read about all the types and functions and see where you fit, if at all.

Understandably. They do ask some questions in different ways to get a better picture.
From personal experience, this test gives you really good results. I'll link the wikipedia article, it does a better job of explaining what this is all about than me http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Myers-Briggs_Type_Indicator
I think the point I'm trying to make is that this isn't an internet fad test and there's a system behind its simplicity.

I got INFJ, but I don't think it's accurate. I'm not really humanitarian, nor do I care that much about solving other people's problems. Agree with Kip :/

ENFJ

Basically every time I've ever seen this test I get ENFJ - Although I understand kip's concerns - it's a lot like that old political compass test - the wording plays a relative role in results, and the low response count makes it less than scientific - but it can give you a rough idea of things.

It's fun in the sort of way reading a horoscope makes you realize how bunk astrology is when virtually nothing about your sign applies to you lol.

But for the most part this captures a few things about me:

I tend not to give a shit about anything relating to order in my personal life - I leave cabinets wide open because I can't help, but feel slightly annoyed when I have to open them again later. My room is simply an archipelago of book-based islands with a pc and bed in there somewhere, and I tend to get really depressed if I am unable to make contact with other people, preferably large groups of people, on a regular basis. I also tend to take over, usually accidentally, any project I'm engaged in. I also have a series of social rituals which I'm incredibly careful to keep always doing x on y day. I also feel that I'm incredibly judgmental and it takes me a long time to break with my snap decisions I make about people.

Most of the stuff in the description seems like it's normal for every human to do, "think inside their heads" and stuff. I disagree with the "not a leader" part. I may not be a good leader, but I really do enjoy leading. Not really impressed because it doesn't seem too accurate just kind of an overall description and generalization about people.

Real talk these tests are kinda dumb to me because the questions asked are really generalized and loaded, especially shit like "Justice over Mercy". I guess it's to be interpreted more as a framework than a definite answer to/description of personality, but it IS kind of annoying.
