FzeroOr diablo 1

In Diablo 1 all you did was dupe items all day because it was so easy :D

And on the note of PVP, it seems more imbalanced in D3 than D2. Whoever gets the first stun/etc off wins, because damage is just more ridiculous than it was in D2.

#6 How do I stress test a new PC? in Hardware

You mean LinX, right? The stress testing it does is absolutely absurd, as it is no where near real world at all. If you want to verify there's no way your PC would poop itself after an overclock, it's not a bad way to check.

#30 Maincalling Tips&Tricks in TF2 General Discussion

You should use the search function.

http://teamfortress.tv/forum/thread/8384/1

Platinum and myself made some pretty good points in here (24 & 20, respectively), both of us having been main callers for our respective teams for quite a while.

To answer your question in the latter part of your post, probably demo/pocket, as they're typically leading the helm of a push & the highest damage dealers. Medic is also with these players the most, and is generally able to see the majority of the positioning and health of their team. In the end, it really just comes down to preference and style.

eg - I main call for immunity. On the flipside, knoxxx and numlocked maincall(ed) for epsilon.

unf1 thing i will not miss from invite is the fact that everyone 'schedules' scrims like 24 hours in advance, so if you're late to the party, you just sit with your thumb up your ass hoping someone gets bored of scrimming another someone and you get to chew on the scraps

fuck you rick for forcing me to get scrims every day

At the moment, there are like 3(4?) "prem" teams in Australia, all of which (bar us, mind you) constantly schedule games multiple days in advance. I don't think we've played together for 2+ weeks.

#34 Final Fantasy 14 - svr: Behemoth in Other Games

If you buy this now, do you get the free month BEFORE paying for a subscription? Trying to convince my friend, because most MMO's work opposite to that.

#28 Final Fantasy 14 - svr: Behemoth in Other Games

Yeah. I used many such as battleping, wowtunnels, etc for WoW. Haven't bothered testing for FFXIV yet.

EDIT: 20 min trial. Might sync my level and do the EZ ifrit to test. Don't wanna dc midway through the hard fight :D

EDIT2: Might not really need it. High ping just requires me to know mechanics for the fight before-hand, and I just have to be really damn quick.

#26 Final Fantasy 14 - svr: Behemoth in Other Games

Game is great, easily craps on 1.0. Japanese voice acting is top notch too with some great seiyuu (Tanaka Rie for one!).

Looking forward to the proposed content patches every 2-3 months. Dinged 50 just yesterday as bard, playing on Sargatanas with some friends. Only problem is playing on 200+ ping - it's harder to avoid void zones and the like in this game compared to WoW. I daresay a VPN and or tunneling service would make this better in the future. I'd probably have to explore an option like that now I'm up to the hardmodes.

Keeps the FF feel throughout the whole game despite being an MMORPG. Good story

#4 Game/PC pauses? in Q/A Help

Could be HDD related. I used to have steam + TF2 on one of those WD Green HDD's (re: not ideal), and my game would randomly lock up for a second or two. Don't know if it's the same as you, though. Worth having a try if you have an SSD and steam isnt on it.

#14 intrusive/fucked up thoughts in Off Topic

I remember having a discussion like this multiple times with friends on mumble. It's quite something. Often have thoughts like "man I wonder what it'd be like to jump off/over this" or to get on some train tracks.

Stewyit's nothing compared to a real game unless you do some weird waypoint tweaking but still.

I dunno man. I once got a triple airshot on Bot01 and that was the greatest day of my life ever.

LKincheloeyukiIf something is only interesting, and not practical, what's the point of it? >_>
And we're playing a game where the hats are only interesting, not practical.

Did you read the second part of my post?

Also, I'm clearly referring to almost anything in the real world that is to have a 'PRACTICAL use'. Good thing you just compared vanity items in a videogame to a device that's practically a portable computer.

Don't think that'd work when you attempt to develop something like this and request funding for it.
