If you can't find anyone and are a bit desperate, I'm sure I could help you a bit. The problem is I'm at an office atm and can't really access steam here. Could you add me?

Downside is I'll have full time work probably within a week or two, so it'll be fairly limited (TIMEZONES!!), unless it's on a weekend. Let me know ;]

DarkNecrid#36 afaik the ranks don't reset yet, they haven't implemented that reward system yet.

They really need to fix MC because it's kinda dumb that you can't play big drops against a Priest or else you will lose unless you make what is already a bad trade an even worse trade.

otherwise i haven't noticed any really glaring OP issues except that maybe Mage AoE is a little bit too good but it isn't anywhere near as stupid as playing against a competent Priest. It's getting to the point where I just want to concede against any priest because I know I'm not about to have any form of fun.

Mind control was(is?) fine in MTG. Though, to be fair, other decks that aren't mage/priest probably need more answers to mind control. Maybe more kill/removal spells need to be chucked in for other classes.

I wouldn't know too much about it since I don't actually own it, but I have played a few games and found that Mage, Warrior, Priest & Paladin are pretty damn good if played right. Shaman is quite good, didn't try the other classes.

#28 hours of tf2 in TF2 General Discussion

Do you mean "total hours tf2 has been launched"? Or those that are class hours added up? Either way.

December 01, 2007
2171 days
2961.51 on record (0 stat reset, total class hours in stats section)
Days equivalent: 123
Equivalent months: 4.04115

Total hours the game has actually been open is 4920, though.

blinKMazi is the PTD, personal training director. Jeff is the operations manager.

https://www.lafitness.com/Pages/ClubHome.aspx?clubid=790 club i'm listed under, moved back to SI.

If you go back and read what I wrote, I said some people can get away with it like smaka. He has a great job and has the ability to go whenever. 100k a year is not a lot most decent careers make that much nowadays. Has nothing to do with that and more with what I originally said. And what Phaser said. If you can read.

The one season I played invite we finished 5th and were in contention of making LAN til the last week of matches. I remember thinking about all of this back then. I would have went but I wouldn't be able to do it 3-4x a year and definitely not in our busy season (which is around the holidays/new years resolution when all the over weight people come in).

Dagger ~ we can all read the begging for money threads during LAN. What does that say to you? I'd like to hear your actual opinion on it.

Anyways i'm done posting. GL in invite everyone this season I was just speaking my mind and my perspective from a personal standpoint. Certain people aren't playing invite for different reasons. A lot of you don't understand that. This thread is titled "rip invite" after all.

shut up cunt

#82 quake live? in Off Topic

Fairly big necro post (sorry). Was wondering what config generator everyone uses(used?) here. I haven't played this game in a good couple of years, and all I've got lying around is rep's config which is wonky as hell.

Just stuff for picmip, forcemodel and all that jazz mostly. A tidy hud recommendation wouldn't go astray, either.

EDIT: I'm an idiot. It seems since I haven't deleted my appdata folder in 3 years, I still have my config. Though I'm still looking for any decent minimalist hud suggestions if anyone has one.

WARHURYEAHI wanted to upload my stuff but bones and cubebwould do a better job, I'm sure others feel the same.

Yeah. I remember reading in threads that there were some pretty good shots that I hit that I didn't even remember. Best for me to leave it for the video masters.

Can't wait for the video.

OOVOOVEggplantWhy aren't there more invite-caliber teams/players ready to step up to the plate? (Or maybe there ARE lots of players/teams ready for invite competition but not able to because of the promotion rules)

I mean, I've seen some players and teams (under different names) hanging throughout open/IM for seasons if not YEARS. Surely invite should be a bit more robust/healthy given the number of players who are serious and dedicated to improving.
spoilers nobody likes invite unless ur top dawggg

IDK, I was in r5, and after the first two weeks I realised that there was little chance that we were going to make LAN. One of the main reasons being that, as a team, we didn't really put effort in to improve (e.g. go over STVs, run through maps, etc). We discussed some situations that had happened in previous game, and how to approach it if it were to arise in another game, but that was practically the extent of it.

I still had a lot of fun playing with people that, while they weren't putting the BEST effort in to improve, they were still trying to improve their own game, and were also playing to have fun. And it was fun despite playing in the bottom half of Invite. You take it for granted just chucking away your invite spot like that, because our team (Immunity) has an even bigger gap between our competition in Australia compared to Invite, especially when your pool of 'good players' is much bigger than ours.

Makes me sad, and wish I could play in invite on normal ping and at 'normal' times T_T

EDIT: granted it sucks that you have to pay money to actually compete, at least you can 'eventually' look forward to getting some money back. When we win, all we get is a forum icon, a pair of shoes, or something.

Yeah I've seen people that wobble aim before, and that isn't "wobble aim". Clearly an aimbot.
