#36 takyahud in Customization

Takyahud is best hud. Only a few problems:

Giant robots don't have indicators up top in MvM. In the default HUD, they have a red background, and crit robots have a blue outline. In takyahud, crit robots have a red background and giants have no indicator. It was always a bug but was never fixed. It'd be great if it was fixed here.

Screenshot so you know what I'm talking about:

http://fc01.deviantart.net/fs71/f/2013/170/b/1/tf2_screenshot___mvm_event_wave_666_by_cra_zy-d69qx9v.png

In MvM, when you miss money with the default HUD, the money value changes from green to gray. What I suggest is making it so that in Takyahud, the green background over the current money missing changes to red when money disappears without being collected. This is handled in resource/ui/mvminworldcurrency.res. This, too, was broken in yaHUD, but shouldn't be hard to fix.

Also, would it be possible to gray out the entire entry when trying to build a building that you don't have enough metal for or already have placed, rather than just discoloring the number? It's a pretty critical HUD element and it's very subtle in this HUD.

TERRYCREWSWe do, you have to click on "View Player's Team Experience" in the bottom left of the player's UGC profile page.

Yeah, I've found that by now. What I mean is there should be a similar button on team profile pages that lists every past player in a chart, along with when they were rostered and when they left. It'd be a lot easier for matching things up.

mathsadjust wanted to say that if you're linking steam accounts PLEASE use id64 (the long numbers) or a steam id and not custom urls because people can change those. you can use this website to get the id64 of a steam account. (copy and paste the link given as the result)

Sorry, slipped my mind. Still just trying to piece together whatever evidence I can find. Man I fucking wish UGC had public roster history.

MiNiThis guy was on my hl team for about a week, it was obvious he was hacking. Around the time we caught him he was leaving tf2 on 24/7 to build up hours.

Just look at his fucking stats, 54 hours of actual gameplay for 4k hours of TF2 open

nope"I played TF2 Competitively at every level and every gamemode in UGC.
Now I focus on life, but if you want to catch me when I'm playing osu! you can find me here "

bahahaha

Actually the guy I talked about on page 2 was named Luc, he was from Canada and in my experience with him, he actually did play in HL, 6s, and 4s at Iron, Steel, Silver, and Gold, I wouldn't be surprised if some plat team picked him up or if he's just bullshitting that part

His arrogance and the way he talks in the groups he's in sounds a lot like the guy I knew

EDIT: I just went to the Twitch page listed and looked at his followers. A couple of people from the old teams I was in with him are following him. This is definitely the same guy, and he's definitely hacked. I can't speak for now, but he's hacked in the past and it probably wasn't the only time.

The last HL team I was in with him: http://www.ugcleague.com/team_page.cfm?clan_id=10614
His VAC banned account's roster history, proving he was in the team: http://www.ugcleague.com/players_page_details.cfm?player_id=76561198093094430
His original VAC banned account: http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198093094430
His post on TF.TV to get CaberCam added to the TF.TV streams sidebar: http://teamfortress.tv/thread/16919/stream-cabercam
His new account's UGC history, proving it was also rostered in SOS: http://www.ugcleague.com/players_page_details.cfm?player_id=76561198136321486

You can match the VAC date with the HL season 13 dates to verify. His new account being rostered in SOS (HL steel) lines up with the VAC date. IIRC it was on a Friday night. It was also Ashville week, which lines up with my earlier claim of KOTH scrims. I mainly remember because the co-leader and I were panicking all weekend trying to get the team together, it was a hell of a shakedown.

#2 Weird Demo Playback Issue in Q/A Help

Frankly, as unhelpful as I know it is...

TF2's demo system, especially with POV demos, fucking sucks. Any glitches or errors you see in playback, along with any bugs involving crashing or consistently reproducible issues, are normal behavior.

Welcome to Team Fortress 2.

Although, you can always try a hud_reloadscheme or changing model quality while paused, the latter of which forces a complete re-initialization of the render window.

#5 TF2Center Scrub Detector in TF2 General Discussion
backquasYes.

Looking at the code now that I'm on a computer, what I would do is host a list of Steam IDs in a raw file in your git repository. That way you could update it with commits without having to update the actual code itself - people could just download the scrub detector and every time they enter a new lobby, it would fetch a fresh list of hackers. Could easily have pull requests for submitting new hackers, too.

How does it detect cheaters? Matches steam IDs from a known list?
