Aww c'mon setsul, don't you like explaining hyperthreading and CPU bottlenecks from scratch every thread?
Serious unrelated question though: thoughts on upgrading from a 2500k to a 6700k, assuming the 6700k is $80?

jimfutsuWill try this now, thanks so much! Is there any way I can edit the files to fix this though? Instead of just using the command. Would like to fix this for the future.
Again, if you upload your version for me I'll show you where to edit it. Generally though, you're gunna want to look at resource\ui\HudInspectPanel.res and add "enable" "0" to "itempanel". At least that's where it is in yayahud, the only HUD I have downloaded right now.
toss me a dropbox of your current version/install and i'll take a look tomorrow
deetr, 120fps at 144Hz is objectively a worse experience than 120fps at 120Hz, because frames are being duplicated which causes stutter. There is no true upside as any slight input lag reduction is completely nullified by duplicated frames.
Of course, you could always just get 144fps and them have a better experience.
are you getting any console spam?
a config known as Chris's Config
use comanglia's
kurt i was scared about you messing up any video after the peanut butter soda review
but i had no reason to be scared
chris is outdated and buggy with more recent versions of the game
For my monitor, lightboost is enabled on the monitor itself. Might just be me though.
Lightboost is hardware limited to only work at 100Hz and above.
Standard lightboost only works between 100Hz and 120Hz but BenQ's implementation works at 144Hz.
Console: "UGC 6v6 TF2 Standard cfg v.12-30-13 executed, reload map once before start"
v.12-30-13
it doesn't look modified, it looks old
KrocketKarmaDoes this have the same smoothness as the game in full screen? I can't play TF2 in borderless because it feels like my refresh rate is cut in half. I have to play in full screen to actually feel 144hz instead of 60.
see what was quoted earlier in this thread by me.
are you on 7? try disabling desktop composition by going with the classic or aero basic theme.
georgeWhat makes you say that? It can / will happen to nearly everyone in this line of business.
I'm pretty sure Tragic/his provider uses backups
arcadiacool dude thanks for letting me know
