After reading this thread up and down for about 30 minutes and bottling some thoughts knowing this log existed, I wanted to share some thoughts. If I get any concrete information wrong regarding the situation, please let me know so I can appropriately correct myself!

First and foremost, racism and transphobia is not cool. I care a lot about this community and love the game, priority number one is making sure we do our best as a community to not harbor hate. The Match Comm chat logs were disgusting, deplorable and a gross reminder that a living human specifically chose those words to cause harm.

Seeing a response like the one Hubida posted in the Match Comms really breaks my heart. This was over a ringer...in a video game? Just now getting an apology 11 months after the fact is suspect, but I'm happy he's starting to take a tiny step towards getting better.

Hubida, you're very lucky b4nny is giving you a chance as a player to prove yourself in the top of Invite and a platform as a person to demonstrate change. I don't know you very well and my limited reference for how you are as a person currently is that Match Comms page, but I currently have zero respect for you and believe you're still getting off way too easy.

You mentioned in your TwitLonger that you're working on it, which is very good! I can respect a person who is actively trying to get better and can admit fault but please don't stop here. Healing and growing is a process and shouldn't stop after 11 months. Don't stop trying to learn and improve because people aren't watching. Don't stop years later when you're not playing this game anymore.

Show the community in positive, constructive ways that you can act like an adult and demonstrate decency.
Show me and others that you're capable of empathy, understanding, and growing up.
Most importantly, show everyone that you're being sincere and serious about getting better as a person.

LFT/LFP Reminder, Sign up today!

We're currently sitting at 18 confirmed teams for LocalHost Philadelphia, which is already 7 more teams than our previous event in Fullerton! RESUP.GG would like to thank everyone for turning up and expressing eagerness to participate! Currently, our goal is to try and fill out the remaining slots to cap our event at 20 teams. If you're still LFT, we urge you to consider reaching out to others trying to get a taste of their first LAN participation experience. Groups, Tournament Structure, Map Pool

For LocalHost Philadelphia, RESUP.GG will be separating teams into a 4 Invite group and two Open groups, all three groups will be facing off in a Round Robin scheduling structure within their respective groups. For the first day of the competition (Group Stages), the smaller Invite group will be playing out their matches on the stage while the Open groups will utilize the floor PCs to complete their matches.

As Group Stages concludes, the top 2 teams from each Open group and all of the Invite teams will continue into a double elimination playoff format.

The format for the group stages and playoffs will be:

• All Day 1 matches (group stages through playoffs round 1) will be Bo1.
  
• All remaining playoffs matches, including all elimination matches will be Bo3.
  
• Grand Finals will be a pick/ban Bo5 with a map advantage for the upper bracket finalist.

The RESUP.GG Map Pool will mirror the RGL.GG Map Pool from the current Traditional Sixes season. The list of eligible maps is as follows:

Schedule

Our event schedule will be jam-packed with some of the best in the country showcasing their skills! Here are some notes regarding what to expect while attending LocalHost Philadelphia:

• Teams will be required to check in no later than 10:30 a.m. on both Saturday and Sunday.
  
• The venue will run late for our event both Saturday and Sunday, with extended hours up to 12 a.m.
  
• Saturday will feature a 1-hour long break from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. to allow teams time to rest, refresh, and refuel.

Hi everyone! I hope you're all well and having a nice start to the week! I'm bringing a beefier update regarding LAN this time around, so I'll try my best to make each segment as digestible as possible! We've been working really hard over at RESUP.gg to bring you the best possible LAN experience and we're beyond excited to share what we have so far!

Team Sign-ups Hard Cap

With the sheer number of potential teams forming and the limited PC space we have reserved, RESUP.gg will be setting a hard 20 team participation cap for this RESUP.gg event. If you haven't already, we urge teams to purchase event tickets as soon as possible for two reasons:

1. Guarantee your spot as an event participant. If you have a team, but fail to register in time (after we reach the 20 team cap) through NerdStreet, you may be disallowed from participating in "The Block" LAN.
2. Allows us over on the RESUP.gg administration side have a more clear, definitive view on who's confirmed attending.

You can purchase tickets here, please make sure everyone on your team is registered on the NerdStreet site so you can add them to the roster inside of the website as soon as possible!

All teams signing up to compete should expect long, busy, and packed schedules from Saturday to Sunday. Check-in will begin at 10:30 a.m. and the venue will remain open until 12 a.m. each day.

June 1st Soft Signup Deadline

Due to the fantastic increase in teams forming and looking to play this LAN event, we'd like to let people know there is potential for a soft deadline for our event and it's recommended that groups purchase event Team Tickets sooner rather than later to reserve your spot in the event that we run out of space! RESUP.GG recommends that all teams planning to attend purchase their event tickets before June 1st to guarantee their spot!

Probably mechanically better than most of Main on scout, easily good enough to play on a top 4 team in the division. Teams with serious intentions to place or outright win and have the patience to properly teach the format to em have the potential to be greatly rewarded.

Some Unfortunate News

Copenhagen Games 2022 has been cancelled for 2022, unfortunately snuffing out our plans to send both our NA and EU rosters to compete. You can read more about the details here

What Does This Mean for Me?

If you have contributed to our "NA wG to CPH22" fundraiser and have not received your perks, please DM us! Those who have graciously donated but have not received any perks yet (jerseys, demo reviews, item signings, etc) will be entitled to a full, 100% refund upon request! To receive a refund, please contact me personally through Twitter DMs (@witnes_, @WitnessGamingTF), Discord @ Witness#3415, or email @ faulkner.ian@gmail.com with your Indiegogo information and confirmation ID for verification and request of either a refund, or wish to receive your outstanding perk.
