#313 yahud in Customization

I pushed another update, with a different font for the "Medium" weight. This should fix the text cut-offs and weight glitches.

This has become really awkward for me to fix, since some fonts ended up really buggy on my PC. Please let me know if something is still not working!

Also fixed the dueling stat panel on the default scoreboard and clipping MvM countdown.

I will include pre-customized versions in the future, you can check out two already in the "Personal Edits" folder. These are reserved for friends atm.

I still can't reproduce the font glitch myself, but I got some others to replicate it. I'll see if I can fix it tomorrow.

I re-did the HP background for the blank versions and added a team-colored option.

Did some editing in FontForge to improve the kerning.

This is the best I could do, the program kept crashing when saving and doing other weird things :/

EDIT: Also added new SpecHUD stuff, left side scoreboard and a MainMenu replacement with ALL CAPS buttons.

#6 Creating a slightly customizable SpectatorHUD in TF2 General Discussion

Made the names on the spectator panel white and made the text on the spectator panel and TargetID larger. I also added an optional HP-Cross version.

You can see some of the changes in this screenshot:

atmoI know this isn't your fault, but the kerning on the health value is horrible :(

I noticed this when choosing the fonts and I initially thought it would be some sort of bug with tf2 or windows, but apparently this is the way that the numbers look.

I'm kinda looking into font-modifying and if I actually get the knowledge to do it properly I'll optimize it for that use.

Derpushey I tried the hud and I love it but is there any way I can put the chat box in
the lower right corner?

Added! You can find it in the /custom/chat folder. Remove the " - ALLCAPS" part before moving it into your resource folder.

On the topic of fonts...
If you still have issues with the font please check if you have the new clientscheme first. If the issue is still present please tell me your graphic config or other settings which might affect the way fonts are displayed, I'm having trouble reproducing the issues at this point. Tested various resolutions, fps &high quality config and so on.

The actual font choice is not necessarily final, I probably won't go back to the old one however.

g0uldrandomirishladCould you please add a team colored background to the health cross? :)It is a very simple edit. Just super tedious.

I'm looking into adding optional team indicators in some form, this might be the way i'll end up implementing it.

loplis there anyway to make the chat box smaller because im using chat box mid and it overlaps the health cross. thanks

Added new options for chat in /custom/chat/

There are now some that are super small:

Middle version is included. You can change the position with the first "ypos" entry. If you want to alter the width you will have to change the "wide" values in that file. Make sure to remove the " - SMALLMIDDLE" part before moving it into your resource folder. Hope this helps.

Is this a problem with my resolution?
1600 X 900

I couldn't reproduce this with the updated clientscheme, please make sure you have the latest version. Did you just download it?

#1 Creating a slightly customizable SpectatorHUD in TF2 General Discussion

I'm trying to create a customizable spectator scoreboard for STV casting.

You can see the WIP here

Imgur album with the other modes and the rest of the interface: http://imgur.com/a/1ZkKe
(high res screenshots)

The idea is that you can toggle between 6v6 and Highlander mode. You can change the text of the sublabels in the scoreboard.res file.
I added the "VS" sign again for this version and made the server map time larger also.

The files can be found under "STV" in the custom foder here: https://github.com/whayay/yA_HUD

I made this separate thread for specific feedback and suggestions regarding the SpectatorHUD. Please let me know what I can do to improve the interface.

Ported the White Box Version and added a "Lines" Option to the Black Version.

Looks like this:

I also re-did the HP cross for the black version, with a proper black background for the HP

I pushed an updated clientscheme, tweaking the fonts definitions. This should make them appear correctly in lower res (I tested 720p) and will also some appear even more crisp in high res, yay!

Let me know if it's not working/if you find fonts that still don't show correctly :)
