Windows Equivalent of the Macbook Pro?

Just get the MBP, TF2 runs very well on OS X and the keyboard, touchpad and retina display are unmatched by other notebooks. You can also install Windows via Bootcamp, but it really isn't needed if all you're doing is TF2 (and you don't need anything that only runs on Windows, like the ESEA client).

RJOut of curiosity, what broke PREC, and what was the fix?
Valve made a backwards incompatible change to the IFileSystem API, plugin authors had to fix their headers to match the game binary again.

SnowshoeAnyone wanting to use sprays should note that cl_allowupload 0 will make it so no one else can see your spray. This is because the command turns off uploading stuff to the server.
FWIW, Source has a nasty history of server and client exploits revolving around file uploads/downloads to and from the server. The safest way to play the game is to set cl_allowupload and cl_allowdownload to 0.

It's been a long time since I've used Windows, but try using one of those programs that will uninstall software and then also delete related registry entries? Just remember to pray to the registry gods first because messing that up can kill your Windows install pretty easily.

The last update improved performance a bit on OS X. I don't have the exact results saved but last I timed this demo a month or two ago I got ~105 fps with maxframes.
With maxframes:
2639 frames 22.619 seconds 116.67 fps ( 8.57 ms/f) 6.399 fps variability
With maxquality:
2639 frames 36.369 seconds 72.56 fps (13.78 ms/f) 8.687 fps variability
CPU: i7-3720QM @ 2.6 GHz
GPU: GeForce GT 650M
OpenGL, fullscreen @ 1440x900
