ya u should definitely be getting more than that

i have less ram, a less powerful graphics card, and basically the same cpu as u, and i pull about 250 fps in midfights, which could be explained by my overclock

what speed is ur cpu clocked at when ur fps dips that low? since its the non-k version it should be turboing to somewhere close to 4.2 ghz

viaduct is definitely worth learning even though it’s the only koth map in the rotation

many of the maps in the current map pool have diverse enough playstyles associated with them that learning them all makes sense and keeps ur team well-rounded

if ur interested in the ryzen 3000 series chips at all i would say wait until they drop or we at least have benchmarks of them

if not then i would say the 8600k

edit: i didn’t see the part about streaming, the 2600x would be a good buy then

ryzen 3000 series CPUs will be a very compelling buy for gaming once the chips are released, the per-core performance is way better than the ryzen 2000 series ones

higher core counts for cheaper is also a nice added bonus

he's a really solid demo who's low/mid im capable for sure
