ESEA has no league fees for open, our discord server was free to create, we use a mumble owned by hellcatt, we used ur tf2 server once (and the config was ridiculously busted), and i've paid any necessary ESEA premium for people on our roster since i've joined, and to my knowledge the only people u paid premium for have either left the roster or were cut before i joined the team, so i'm just curious what money of urs that i wasted

i've already made my apologies and i understand how disingenuous and unscrupulous the behaviors of myself and ekh0 have been, as well as acknowledging the fact that i failed to punish his actions and keep his antics in check

i'd like to take this post to address some of the things brought up in this thread that haven't had the clearest of clarification with the hope that all of us involved in this fiasco can take our lumps, learn from our mistakes, and move past this whole thing

first, the decision to allow ekh0 onto our team knowing full-well he was going to use an alt was mine and mine alone, his synergy with our combo on a mechanics and calling level was instant and our team was in full agreement to pick him up, but when i learned of his past transgressions with ESEA (i was away from the game since the conclusion of season 27) as well as his intention was to join our roster on an alt, i pleaded with him to join on his main account but eventually gave in because i wanted to put the success of the team first as well as finalize our roster considering how tumultuous and changing the roster had been for the team leading up to me taking over

second, no one else on our team should take the blame for the events that have transpired aside from myself and ekh0 although safrix and branded have made rude comments towards other players in matches, which i don't condone and try to limit as much as i can, neither them nor hellcatt and murkscribe should receive flak for allowing alting to take place

third, we operated our team knowing full well that ekh0's situation was in violation of ESEA rules, and if extine as well as others feel that our actions warrant reports that would likely lead to issued bans to those involved as well as all the effected matches being overturned then we can't stop u

fourth, the apology post made by the "Nate_Higgers" account on this website is genuinely not ekh0 and is likely someone looking to cash in on the drama

fifth, extine, i know u have legitimate reasons to believe that this team is getting what it deserved, but ur post directed at safrix regarding his post about our rescheduled match is missing crucial context: as explained in this post, their team forfeited us knowing full-well that the item server not working on our assigned ESEA server (which i was trying to get in contact with tri for but he was away at the time) the ESEA website was also experiencing a global outage at the time which meant that one of our players couldn't use his premium code that i purchased out of pocket

all those involved deeply regret what's happened and we simply wish to move on knowing full well that we were in the wrong and that our actions were inappropriate and against ESEA rules and guidelines

i fully understand the ramifications of these events and that i need to put my foot down when those on my team display actions that are unprofessional and unbecoming of those under the banner of an organization

ur right in that keeping a respectful and honorable appearance as a team is vastly more important than a win in ESEA and i failed in not making that decision

i fully regret the ending of our sponsorship with extine and his brand, i deeply apologize for any bad publicity these players and i may have brought upon his brand, and i wish extine nothing but the best going forward with his brand and any team lucky enough to receive his support, guidance, and wisdom

if he can keep his drive to play the game and improve consistent he'll go very far

if u click on the matchmaking bar at the top of the main menu and go to matchmaking settings u should be able to change ur maximum accepted ping and preferred server region(s)
