JasHad a friend with the same problem, they sent me the demo that supposedly won't save and I managed to smooth it fine. Seems like a client issue. Try reinstalling TF2 as steampipe may have fucked something over.

smoothing demos not saving

Q/A Help
so everytime i smooth a part of a demo and then click save, it doesn't do anything, doesn't save a file or anything.
it also doesn't freeze up when i click save, before once i had smoothed a demo and clicked the save button, it would freeze up for a second or so and i would be able to click ok and find the file next to the old demo.
does anyone have the same problem/have a fix for this problem? any help would be appreciated
