Holy shit. I thought this problem was just me. you could always just play in borderless windowed mode helps slightly if you want quicker alt tabbing for the mean time until this gets fixed (presuming that it does get fixed). Though you might have to deal with a little bit of lag input which honestly isn't too bad tbh.

My earphones = broken

funhaver1998ok guys since ive made this thread ive been using earphones i found on the floor in the corner of my room behind my wardrobe and they only work in a certain specific position so they cut out a lot and in the heat of battle im unable to adjust them. so far my experience:
1. having abused hurled at me by old ass grown ass head ass men in quake
2. cant hear where ppl spawning in mge which is letting ppl just shoot me in the back
3. can't listen to The Smiths while im skateboarding at high speeds
so i think its a good idea i get good earphones, but i only like a specific type. u kno like the apple ones, they don't go straight into your ear but they go on top. i want those. i kno u ppl always recommend the xiami pistons but they penetrate my ears and im not trying to get penetrated im jjust in it for hte music man

iodineMy damage numbers for some reason are always red. I am using yahud M-X, and i even switched to m0rehud to see if it would change, and it doesn't. The font for the dmg changes, but the color is always red for some reason.
This is a screenshot of my custom folder, i am using the no hats mod, explosion smoke script, hitsounds, and vtf crosshairs along w/ my hud.

I've used dx8 for the longest time in tf2. I honestly don't know what has changed, but dx80 gives me white flickering, and 81 gives me game stutters for unknown reasons.

Basically title says it all, i'm using dx9 and i want dx8 graphics. I'm currently using the commands listed below. It still doesn't look about right. Is there anything else I'm missing? and another thing that really bugs me about using dx9 is the sniper's scope gloss. Is there any command to get rid of the gloss?
