#11 Fail at 120hz in Hardware
manakwahlsterHow big is difference between 120 and 144? Is it worth upgrading?oov told me basically no difference, so if you already have it, don't bother.

there is quite a difference when it comes to motion blur, but Lightboost (nividia technology) is worth upgrading for every single cent really it removes all the motion blur and its like playing on a CRT again and its amazing Lightboost > 144 > 120 > else (simply upgrading for the 144 hz might be worth it if you have a high ms monitor but otherwise not really

#12 PC BUILD OPINIONS in Hardware
EmmaWatsonAndKennethGood point though. Intel processers generally tend to have a little less grunt for the price but handle media encoding, rendering ect. much better than similar AMD processers. If you are looking to stream I can personally vouch for the i5 3570K / similar model from haswell taking it like a champ with no issues.Actually, the fx-8350 utterly destroyed the 3570k when streaming.

You just said that your AMD processor did 90 FPS ingame while streaming meanwhile i got the i5 and i get 240 / 150 on mid

#21 twitch sniper/ flick aim in Off Topic
mjust click on the guy

focus on hitting the shot, not how you hit it

justin has like a 2048124 inch 360 and he tracks really well

tviq twitches his ass off

both are good snipers

sometimes i can keep my crosshair on the guy before i click, sometimes i cant and a fling my mouse wildly

shoot him, if its on him thats all that matters

last time i checked im usually tracking? idk maybe im wrong

the301stspartan>Deathadder 2013 superior to deathadder black
>AD-700 has 0 bass

Don't rely on /g/ too much when buying hardware, just sayin´

I got the DA13 and it was no problems as the others have, only problem i have atm is with my Puretrak glides is that the mouse gets to much height and cant track on the puretrak mousepad (h3h3) But its not a problem and doesnt happen while im playing just when doing nothing basicly

#75 The Future Of Competitive Team Fortress 2 in TF2 General Discussion
konrWaldoI think steps could be taken into making some kind of 24/7 stream bot which could just play over old ESEA IM and invite POV demos, interspersed with ads. There could be a schedule for casted demos, and live matches, as well as community events. Sort of a central hub of casting and competitive TF2, recorded casts could be used as well. It would take a dedicated server, as well as a good chunk of memory for saved casts, and some logistics for casters to control the bot, but if it could be done, we would effectively have an online TV show dedicated to TF2. Would be pretty cool.I'm pretty sure Chaplain said he was doing something like this over at ETF2L.

its called tf2radio

#26 Premiership Players Need Blue Names Too :D in Site Discussion
bulkYou're making generalizations and blanket statements about a competitive scene in which your experience is playing in div 6 pugs. I'm confused as to why you thought your opinion on the matter would be relevant in the first place.

I like this guy.. give him some cool colors!
