#4 Possibility for Virginia DM servers in Site Discussion
Mojo_da_KiddYou should get better internet, 150-200 ping is really hard to play with. Even if the server was close to where you live you would still get over a 100 ping. Get better internet, its the only way you will be able under normal conditions like others

I usually get 50 ish on Virginia Servers

#1 Possibility for Virginia DM servers in Site Discussion

So I live on the mid-Atlantic and play on a toaster with comcast internet. However, all of the DM servers in NA are in the midwest. My shit internet gives me 150-200+ ping on a good day. Could we possibly get DM servers in Virginia and possibly on the west coast as I can't be the only one with this problem.

#84 Do pros consider scout op? in TF2 General Discussion
kuliComparing the primary weapon stats of scout, soldier and demo:

Scout: 6 shots (max damage: ~600)
Soldier: 4 shots (max damage: ~420)
Demo: 4 shots (max damage: 400)

Max damage output speaks for itself.

Scout: reloading 6 shots: 3.56s (first: 0.76s; consecutive: 0.56s)
Soldier: reloading 4 shots: 3.32s (first: 0.92s; consecutive: 0.8s)
Demo: reloading 4 shots: 3.04s (first: 1.24; consecutive: 0.6s)

more shots to fire > faster consecutive reload times: makes sense
only half a second slower than fastest reload > get two shots more in total: doesn't make sense (especially considering overall damage dealing capability)

your guess whether scattergun is an 'op' primary weapon or not. possible nerfs: overall mag size or reload speed.

[/every salty demo main who gets stuck in a reload cycle all the time watching a scout still having two more shots to fire]
[/and even if the scouts misses his two gifted shots he can reload faster and kill you anyway]
[/and then there's the hurt feeling left creeping inside you that scout needs no aiming skills whatsoever since it's a simple point-and-click-class that makes prediction skills totally obsolete]
[/and then you fall in love with a japanese girl scout streamer and you don't give a shit anymore because kawaii]

Demoman's true primary is his stickybomb launcher. He uses his grenade launcher as a secondary.

#8 New Map Pugs Group in TF2 General Discussion
chojjeOhh, I love this initiative. Sadly the time is a bit off for my schedule, or I'd be happy to join weekly. Looking forward to the feedback to come out of this!

As a suggestion, this might be a good opportunity to branch out into other game modes than 5 cp, if the map list looks a bit short.

Map list last time was 2 maps

#5 New Map Pugs Group in TF2 General Discussion

I don't think logjam is the best choice as it isn't "new". I can't think of one to replace that spot, though.

#21 Chances of ESEA existing next season? in TF2 General Discussion
Vand\
The -bird noises- roster should stay alive for next season, though we will definitely have a different line-up and most likely a different name as well.

Any insight you'll be willing to give as to the new roster?

fahrenheitTsarbuckspendanursey is determined to make a luca goers reform to beat whatever form of ronin there will be next season.
akaik ronin is probably going to get highfive and zilly.

So ronin is staying in some form?

Rando mentioned picking them up in some form in his stream post playing Bird Noises in mumb with Nursey and Ma3la, dunno how true that is or if he was just drake and joshin but its in the air

So we get RONIN, but lose EVL?

Aim posted this in Bear's chat when asked "when he would return to invite".

Hopefully that fills "Possible team from S22 players"

#6 ESEA Season 23 announced in News
theoxandmoonI wish I were good enough to play in IM. Gotta keep practicing. Hopefully we fill up the spots.

Given the fact that around half of Invite is dying, a lot of IM will go there, lowering the skill floor to get into ESEA-IM.

I don't know where in Open you are (or if you're in Open), but if you are in high to mid open, you might get into IM, if IM is around next season.
