I like two halves better because while it doesn't exactly discourage stalemates, time simply comes into play a lot less since you have 1 hour to get 5 rounds, parking the bus rarely happens. I also think its more interesting that teams have a short period to talk about what is going wrong or right and then apply that to the second half of the same map. Adapting on the fly might be a more important skill but I still think that break and 2x as much time makes the games better overall.

Great dm and can uses positioning to compliment it. Cleaned up anything that was in his field of vision. Every time he made a mistake he realized it and said how he could fix it.
