hi, I've been pouring my heart and soul into this clip for the past few days and I'm really really happy with how it came out. it's huge progress compared to anything I've done before, and I hope this will be the start of a lot more editing.

criticisms are very welcome, as well as suggestions in terms of colors, and if anyone has a clue how to do good snakewater colors please let me know.

It depends how much you're slowing down the clip. I normally render regular clips at 120-240 fps, regardless of whether I'm using slowmotion or not. 120 frames as opposed to 60 looks smoother (at least from what I can see), and 240 is plenty for slowmo. Smooths I always record at at least 480, and often 960 depending on how few ticks there were.

maybe this is overkill but I find it works for me and gives a smooth look.

super cool guy, very helpful, friendly, and a good player to boot. get him a team.

He played a bunch of scrims with us and I can say he's an excellent soldier. He has great DM, played very well with our medic and was able to make things happen with our ubers. He had great game sense, nice comms, and seemed to always to be where he was needed. On top of that he was a really nice, chill guy, and we would've picked him up for sure if our old pocket hadn't come back earlier than expected. Get this guy a team, you definitely won't regret it.
