Help with damage numbers

Hey, sorry if this has been answered before but I can't understand the explanations I have seen.
Basically I want to change the font of my damage numbers from the default that comes with notohud to an outside .ttf that I dl'd myself. I seem to be able to change the in-game fonts but that changes everything on the hud, I simply want the damage numbers changed and I can't seem to find a file/directory that allows me to change only the damage numbers and nothing else.

It was actually really cool, I had known and played with the person who sent it to me for over 1.5 years, it was a full look-a-like twitch page with clickable links, and I couldn't view the VOD that the person sent me because the page stated I needed to update my flash player. I usually don't update much on my computer because it simply updates itself, but when I clicked the download button it restarted my comp and locked me out of my steam account.
