How to play in high div HL teams?

Not sure exactly how it is over the pond, but if you perform well in pugs with high level players you will get noticed at least in nahl. Kinda goes doubly so for medic cause most pug medics are ass lol!
Beyond that, if your networking attempts go nowhere you could try to make your own team. Fair warning though that I have seen plenty of people try to make a team to get into a higher division because they had huge egos and thought they were better than they were (these usually crash and burn). On the flip side though if you legitimately believe that you belong in the division this might be a good way of proving it.

Swooped in literally last second to save my team, never played with him before but he was an awesome teammate and a chill dude in general. Deserves a good team that has the same dedication he has, it was sort of unfortunate that my/our team dedication went down after multiple roster mishaps

by the time you switch to his crosshair he's already switched crosshair, hud, sens, mouse, room humidity etc.

99% of my crashes are during level changes, but for the first time in eons I crashed during a scrim as I was pushing last couple weeks ago.
Also shitty pub servers with lots of custom stuff absolutely roll my game but maybe that's expected.

stephwait why doesnt rgl just prevent ppl from joining spectator team theres literally a cvar for it - mp_allowspectators
isn't there a glitch where the game doesn't let you join a team and you have to type spectate in console to fix? wouldn't matter before the match but I guess if you crash and try to reconnect it could, but I'm not 100% on why this glitch occurs in the first place so maybe this is a non-issue.
