#15 Monitor freaks out when watching videos sometimes in Hardware
WithADanceNumberHappened to me for a while, and then stopped for no real reason. Only happened in steam flash player. same monitor.

exactly this, AMD HD7950. i think it had to do with running two monitors in different refresh rates, since i don't get it anymore.

Knuckles_http://pcpartpicker.com/p/4bxcRB

only issue i see is the WD Caviar Blue (mid-range hard drive compared to a solid state drive).

anyone else find it funny that drive types are "hard" and "solid"? or just me

#4 g400s weird problem in Hardware

does it ever happen to you in game? for me it's just on the desktop, so I've never bothered to think too hard about it.

#19 Slight freezes in Q/A Help

I have an SSD and 12GB of RAM (i bought 8 without realizing my 4 could be used with it) and I haven't noticed this yet. Can you guys with the issue post basic specs to see if there's a pattern?

I get this sometimes when alt tabbing. I fix it by changing my DPI up and down.

it seems to happen less without the Logitech software, but it does still happen

#39 Where do u you find time to play tf2? in TF2 General Discussion
goatid rather play video games than hangout with friends honestly

I agree, especially when my online "gaming" friends are more fun to hang out with than real life friends

#4 Bad Load Times in Q/A Help

I would make sure all your configs are in tf/custom/WHATEVER/cfg, then back up your custom folder and totally uninstall tf2. Also save demos if you care about those.

It takes a while to download depending on your internet speed so maybe do that overnight?

hrOthanks david, didnt know about this!
also kermit ill do that.
EDIT: http://prntscr.com/4o1hq2
there you go kermit

CPU temps are highish but safe, you'd need a better cooler AND a better motherboard to overclock so it's not a cheap option. GPU temps are not high enough to indicate throttling, but they're not great either.

I didn't really learn anything from that, sorry. Maybe it has to do with drivers? Try getting some actual numbers about how bad your FPS is in those games.

reselectmarxist can you also be my dad

would you really want your dad in the community? he'd be scouring your logs.tf profile for trash talk and lecturing you about respect.

and be "not angry, just disappointed" about your dpm

hrOit really isnt, i have to play ac4 and those games on 720p and low settings, but yeah im probably gonna wait for new the ones, around what time are they coming out anyways?

Sounds to me like there's something wrong with it. Try checking temps/clock speeds while playing a game and look for anomalies.

the GTX 650Ti should be comparable to your card

1080p on low settings looks pretty playable.

my googling says they're going to release high end GTX 900 cards in October sometime.

hrOthanks for the input guys, im probably gonna end up buying a gtx 780 or something in that range. One thing that confuses me is that ive had such shit fps in those games just as the card came out and the games were fresh too, so that was the standard back then.

it's been a while since we've had new graphics cards, i'd wait for the new generation for better value (and clearance deals for current cards!) since your 560 is still capable of 1080p gaming on medium in modern games

honestly if the child is getting in the way of your game and refuses to cooperate you should cut him from the team.
