so there's this joke that everyone says these days. they read some sort of joke they don't think is clever, and they respond with "nice meme" or "sick meme bro". this is such a dumb thing to say. I hate that it's actually impossible to chat in a twitch stream, a tf2 server, or even these forums without seeing this
An Internet meme is an activity, concept, catchphrase or piece of media which spreads, often as mimicry, from person to person via the Internet.[1] Some notable examples include posting a photo of people lying down in public places (called "planking") and uploading a short video of people dancing to the Harlem Shake.
saying "nice meme" is a fucking meme
it's less funny than any actual meme
using the phrase is a frickin oxymoron
nobody will ever find it funny that you said "nice meme" what's the fucking point you're not cool you're just wasting your own time
I've actually seen people using the Lenny face (you've probably seen it, Google it) as a say bind in combination with the phrase.
Why do I only see this in the TF2 community? is it a plague? or are we just really, really dumb?
Vashlel funni memes
I want you to understand how bad this forum post was and never make one like it again
BenkWhy is it important to mention in the title that she is a girl?
This is why I need feminism.

Healing spies in pubs is the most interesting thing in TF2
some of them beeline to a staircase and try to trickstab you. When you just stare at them, they either pull out their gun or accept your as their better.
some of them just start knifing you. You can put them in their place with your saw, you can try to surf the damage to escape their reach, or you can submit and see if they feel remorse.
some of them play along and give you lots of assists. these are the most interesting, the intelligent ones that recognize you as more valuable than a single kill.
shouting "YEE-HAW" in mumble is not science.
edit: anyone else have weird things they do in pubs? like besides just killing people. i wonder if i do things like name myself "ONLY TAKE AMMO PACKS" and run around taking ammo packs, do people just think i'm a really bad player? or do they understand??
I pretty much just surf and scrim these days and for some reason it works for me.
So what do you guys do? Not asking for help, just curious.
I've had the exact same issue with comcast. No real solution.
ExquisiteStoneYes, I once survived a headshot like that too, it's a 1/66 chance logically.
imagine if you got bodyshot while a spy headshot you
150 - 50 = 100
100 + 3 = 103
103 - 102 = 1
you hear a crit noise and you see the sniper and you're alive so you're like "yea i planned that headshot with my regen to survive it ez" and your team thinks you're a god and the other team is like "med's lit"
imagine being a medic main for so long you're actually proud of not dying when someone shoots you
breloomi dont understand how people can still be mid open after 4 seasons. thats like 1.5 years
edit
Some people have more natural talent, or have a history of playing FPS games. Most people just don't put the practice time in. I know I could practice more, but playing in IM/Invite is less important to me than just playing the game for fun and being "good" just means playing well for my crappy teams. I think a lot of open players feel the same way.
i've never participated in these so i don't what they're about, but i'm experienced in both mumble adminning and coaching players
i made a lft post recently with all my tf2 experience since nobody has any idea who i am
you can also use the menu to go back to default settings, then type "bind 4" to find out what the command is. I had to do that for a lot of the weird stuff, like +use_action_slot_item
can I make everyone make the octopus squishy noise
lexsWithADanceNumberI dont quite understand, he didnt do anything, on what grounds is he losing his chance at a future job?AntaresIt's all fun and games until someone gets shot..Losing your chance at future job applications sure is fun and games. Getting humiliated in front of a live audience is fun and games. Having you family/friends/co-workers/lover find out you got raided by a SWAT team fun and games.
Yup, sounds fun to me.
The legal system doesn't always work. My dad went to prison for a crime he didn't do that didn't affect a single person because the federal government can't lose a court case. The only reason they did it was to get him to falsely testify against his employer for a "cooperation" sentence reduction. The only honest person in the court room is the one they sent to jail.
as long as they think they're right, they are.
I'm actually embarrassed to admit how much I play games with all this BS that gets attributed to gamers. Dumb news :(
