#21 TF2 Pub Hackers in TF2 General Discussion
strazyyylmao why do people still think psilent works

how is he not banned from ugc

pub hacking is very very low on our priority list, and the guy has been barely played competitive lately

edit: to clarify, it's not that we don't care, but the small number of trustworthy people that are competent in anti-cheat necessitates that they focus on the people that impact our league the most.

I'd test it out rather than invest over $50 on a cooler you might not need. You seem to know your stuff.

#5 switcher in Customization

if you just want a link to a popular one, here you go: https://code.google.com/archive/p/broesels-crosshair-switcher/

it's pretty easy to make your own though, and i always recommend using your own (non-fps) configs so you know exactly how your game works

#4 evlTV ESEA-I evl.gg vs TSU Gecks / Marxist in TF2 General Discussion
SideshowCool graphic and should be a sick cast, will be tuning in.

Only niggle is that the title for this thread is unintelligible at first glance. If you're going to be posting more whenever there's a highlight cast could you aim to make them a bit easier to read?

agreed, I read the title as two giant team names, "evlTV ESEA-I evl.gg" vs."TSU Gecks / Marxist". Leaving the casters names out of the title would probably be for the best, as it gives you a lot more room to format.

#15 tf2 in gamespot article in Off Topic
yttriumwith the ESEA's competitions showing the most life recentlyReally? Because as far as I'm aware they've dropped LAN support... I would say Insomnia shows the most life, if not UGC (by enthusiasm and money, and by sheer numbers, respectively).

I think the EU scene is more impressive from an "esports" point of view than what UGC and/or ESEA is doing, since they have LANs, high player numbers, and the highest level of competition all in one cohesive system. But I wouldn't expect a Gamespot article to do that much research for their #20 spot.

#63 We need to talk about the booties in TF2 General Discussion

I think people will get better at fighting it when they have to do it more. Doesn't feel banworthy yet, especially when you consider how some demos do 30-40% of their damage with pipes, which is way more than any other class uses their secondary.

if you have friends you like to play with, picking a main that complements them is a good choice.

#42 Vanguard in Map Discussion
Fubaroh hey there, for the record I'm still actively working on the map. I'm still addressing issues that I've had from highlander league play but things have been really quiet on the 6s side. If anything, I think now's a good time to reevaluate 6s potential for this map.

Your post is exactly what I was hoping to hear, as Valve adopting the map made me assume that development would slow down or completely stop. Thank you for continuing to improve even after finding success!

SpaceGhostsCoffeeI really like Simpson's Paradox, it's a really good example of how statistics can be counterintuitive and used to mislead.

I hate this one a lot because the examples showed us situations where the combined statistics were more accurate to the goal of the study, as well as situations where the combined statistics were less accurate to the goal of the study. The gender bias one was where breaking it down made it clear that there was no gender bias, while the batting averages were more accurate if you looked at them on the whole rather than per year.

It's a true pain in the ass because being aware of the paradox makes it harder to accept anything at face value.

springrollsi like how puppy doesn't address that video of him lol

http://puu.sh/lW12L/b2ef3586cd.png

can't argue with that. not like you can ban him from his own pugs. he may be a piece of garbage but you can't make him leave his own trash can
