That's still not "half a grand."
Half a grand is 500 pounds.
1000€ = grand
Half = divide value above by 2
thus half a grand = 500€
sigh
A grand is $1000. That laptop is definitely not half a grand.

JarateKingCLEAN TF2 UPDATED
-added a short readme that describes all the files
-added _killfeed_scoreboard_icon_removal.vpk
-added _unadditive_damage_indicator.vpk
-added _unadditive_sniper_dot.vpk
Those three new vpk's are nitpicks and are not for everyone but if you want it, you have it.
If anyone's got any suggestions I'd love to try them out.
What do the new VPKs do exactly? Do they help performance?
Mr_Owlhow old are you?
This. To give actual helpful advice unlike post #2, we need to know a little bit more about your situation. Your problem is not uncommon and I'm sure there are a lot better resources out there online instead of on a gaming forum.

It was acceptable the first time.
Not really this time.
How much more better would an i5 @3.1ghz run in TF2 compared to an i3 @3.5 ghz?
I'm looking at the prices right now and the i5 costs about $50 more than the i3, are the benefits of the quad core worth the extra cost? I'm a student and my overall build budget is around $650 including the operating system.
