i am glad that YOU (there are probably players who won't get more fps with it - but you already said "gives me") get more fps with it :)

edit: oh btw. if you want to plya tf2 on dx9 you "should" use the following commands:
mat_bumpmap 1
mat_phong 1
mat_specular 1

also i recommend using mat_picmip 0 (or -1) for more fps - even though it's a better quali than 1 and 2 (worst) // just try it :P

Snivy fixed his problem by using mat_mipmaptextures 0 and hasn't noticed a difference yet so everything is fine :P

i advise you to disable some win10 features to gain the max performance (otherwise you might get even less fps in tf2). you could even disable hyperthreading (or disable just few cores for tf2) to get the highest (+ a stable) cpu-freq while playing it

too boring sorry :P. what does this "mat_mipmaptextures 0" command do? why does it help? look at other stuff ingame and do not focus your old prob - you might find a new one

Talked to shyyou (opponent for this week) already and got the "permission" to play.
My aim and movement is crap though - getting older :|

I promised my whole team that I will be playing one more season with them since Mike/Knoxxx told me that they won't play this season. Since there are tournaments (?) soon (??; no idea tbh, not really up to date) old epsilon players created a team. Because they cannot find a scout who wants to play with 3 frenchmen they asked me.
If a team says no to me as a merc, I (and epsilon) can understand it ofc. Presently I do not prefer playing prem (practice things etc.) since it requires a warmup and more concentration. Of course it 's fun to play prem (vs topteams and players) again, especially with my buddies. Moreover, it's an honour for me to be allowed as a merc.
Also it is a great practice (getting into prem again and so on) for the next season + lan-events (incl. i58 which I will attend with Epsilon).

couldn't make it to lan so they had to look for another scout. isn't easy to get used to a team and playstyle 1-2 months(?!) before such an event. however, forasken played well (and the rest of reason ofc!).

i am already hyped for i58/england. is it still possible to get these fckin tasty sandwiches at insomnia? :O
