I agree with you that the concept of sweatshops arent an inherently bad thing since people working there earn more than the average wage, but there are significant problems at how in the meantime serious issues on the labour conditions and rights of these workers, and the only way to help fasten the process of raising the prosperity and rights is by constant pressure, becuase you're right, most people don't give a shit but luckily some still do (those that remember the woes of industrial revolution in europe) and so we get efforts like the GSP+ ( http://trade.ec.europa.eu/doclib/docs/2018/january/tradoc_156536.pdf ) in the EU. Similar pressure should come from the USA with the mindset that you are the primary public for these companies and they will listen to you and implement changes, but instead celebrities will sell you and everyone the idea, to be happy, to be succesfull, you need this, you are a loser if you don't. Wouldn't it be better for a lot of people who don't have the skills or time or other issues to get through college and would fit in manufacturing to be making these things, and make money?
If you buy these super expensive kind of shoes, at least have the companies make them in your own country. I'll continue to buy lesser priced equally good products from all over the globe
We can close in on the wealth gap instead of being blind in racial divides and the blame and victim game. And yea i've always been mindful of this issue tbh, I never bought anything i thought was overpriced becuase of it's brand. I think personally it's a win/win situation for both parties involved, so even if you think i'm part of the evil dudes, why not?
Also inner city is poor urbanite region, small labour houses and what they call section 8 in your country, Doesn't matter which race are currently occupying it you will see the same issues pop up. Kinda sad really the wealthier middle class part of a minority can help apply this mindset of showing off brands to be cool and push people worse off into bad financial decisions becuase they dont want to be seen as inferior.
aim-I’m not talking about that I’m talking about how ur just bashing an entire demographic for something they like regardless of how materialistic it is
‘Ghetto people who sperg out about shoes’
Brodie u might as well say every black/hispanic person age 18-24 in an inner city environment
Don't try to frame this into some racial issue by not mentioning the fact that there are just as many white and asian poor inner city people doing the same, please. Let's not go there. There have been a lot of studies proving branding and marketing has been very effective into enticing people to buy something thats really expensive but still can be done, and that people who come from a poor background will value people more highly if they have these things.
In the words of Kanye the shoe designer himself:
We buy our way out of jail, but we can’t buy freedom; We’ll buy a lot of clothes when we don’t really need em; Things we buy to cover up what’s inside; Cause they make us hate ourself and love they wealth.
Drug dealer buys Jordans, crackhead buys crack.
And the white man get paid off of all of that
Hey what do i know, im just a broke retard bitter racist bitch for bringing this up right.
aim-sacNow i see how ghetto people get into debt over sneakers so easily, they don't want to be called a broke retard by their peers.Damn that’s not borderline racist or anything
look at vlad's link and talk to me how racist i am for not wanting to support these companies that exploit the third world.

You sound incredibly insecure. :D
you don't have to be broke to open up a credit card in the USA where the higher score gives you lower intrest rates on mortgage loans.
