#310 Do you like the song above? in Music, Movies, TV

I might be weird, but 99% of the time if a song is used in a commercial it just gets old after a while. Not a huge fan of that one.

cabooseHow do you edit the y-values of the target IDs (for medic)? Can't seem to find the correct .res folder.

Very nice hud, look forward to using it.

I believe the one you are referring to is TargetID.res

MidnitesiteWhen I enable the circle crosshair, it looks like a 9.

Also, is there a way I can edit the text on the left of the screen that shows me how much health I receive when I pick up a health pack?

For the crosshair, make sure to install the crosshair.otf font (if you are on Linux there is a way to fix it but I'll have to look it up) and for the health go into the resource/ui folder and look for "HudHealthAccount.res" and the font is at the bottom called "Roboto16"

#3 FPS configs? in Q/A Help

The configs still work for me. Steampipe is kind of picky about where you place the .cfg files, though. Mine are placed within C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Team Fortress 2\tf\custom\cfg
The "cfg" folder name doesn't matter, but the .cfg files should be placed in the "custom" folder.

Edit: ninja'd

MoistMelonsZimmy@ Melons: Did you delete your resource and script folders before you installed the HUD, or did you merge your folders? Sometimes if you merge, stuff gets messed up. Best advice I have now is to try to reinstall. If that doesn't fix it, I'm not too sure what is wrong but I'll look into it.
I'm running mac, does that have anything to do with it?

Yes, unfortunately. Honestly I'm not entirely sure how to fix this as I know next to nothing about Macs. Sorry :/

#28 NHL playoffs :P in Off Topic
2sy_morphiendZimmyIm from Illinois, and I hate the Blackhawks. I like the Blues, but theres no way they win, so I'm going with Anaheim.
You're from like honorary missouri if that's the case.

Hawks going all the way there

Honestly, it's mostly because of the fans around here. Personally, I've been playing hockey since I was four years old. No one really cared about hockey (at all) until after the Hawks won the Cup back in 2010. After that it was "OMG I LOVE HOCKEY" around here and it got really annoying really fast.

#25 Zimmy's HUD in Customization

Just added an updated version to the original post above. Changes include orange low health text instead of red, a more user-friendly version for those who do not use cl_hud_minmode 1, an option to move the Uber charge percentage toward the center of the screen, and a few other fixes for those who were having trouble with the text files.

Yes. Go into the resource/ui folder, and find the file called "HudDemomanCharge.res"
In the file, the first entry says "ChargeMeterLabel." Under this entry look for "labelText." It should say "PIPE." Change PIPE to whatever you want it to say.

TekkVery nice, just installed it. I know you said this hud looks better in minmode, but I find the numbers are too small for me, and then when I switch to normal they're a tad too big lol. Also, on the demo charge bar, how come it says "Pipe"?

Honestly that was omp's doing lol. In the future I was thinking about editing the text in the bars, or just removing them completely. Also in the future, I'll probably make a version to use without minmode being enabled. Thanks for the feedback!

LaanHow do you get the circle around the crosshair? Is it "OmpCrosshairCircle"?

Yup. Just change "visible" and "enabled" to "1" at the very bottom of the hudlayout.res and you're good to go.
