Does soldier counter scout or vice versa?

if a scout runs into badlands lunchbox and theres a soldier there, all the soldier has to do is click his mouse twice while literally aiming anywhere and its a free pick
but in badlands middle favors scout a little bit i think
in most cases pocket > scout > roamer when it comes to 1v1s imo

when i started playing scout i played the class cuz he was SUPPORT and u do stuff for ur TEAM now its all about ur meaningless 9dmg frags (man i sure am glad i clicked him first instead of my pocket or scout partner or else i wouldnt have good stats) and investing all your life in stats and mge
i have to play the game to put up good stats instead of being a quality team player or else ill get cut its fucking stupid and no other classes are appealing to me
and i wish i could go to smash tournaments without having to drive 3 hours
