This tournament could very easily go about 7-9 teams deep (and we're talking about quality teams that can do damage).
I believe that a buy-in "Captains" tournament could be fun. Last time, there was one that took place late Friday.
Just paid for myself, I'll see whether my roommate wants to play or not before I figure out how I'm going to pay for her.
I'm going to bring my roommate Lauren with me. She's never been to a LAN before, and she did inquire about what a LAN really is after the last two I went to. I figure that this would be a fun one to show her.

don't be so sure ;3
hint hint
we will rape XTS and Street Hoops, trust me.
Pride comes before a fall.

100% going. I'll book the time off work early.
smoboNobody is forming a crusade or a mob or whatever against him. Some people just chose to express that they dislike him. This is literally trash talk, which is one of the founding principles of the tftv forums. Calling people shit is all we do here, i don't see why it's wrong to call ruwin out?
TF.TV is the NICEST TF2 forum I've ever seen. NATF2 and GotFrag would make this site look like a Sunday choir in comparison.
Very few people ever get called shit in here (especially when compared to what happened in the previous two forums).
As for the fatkidding: I just think that if pug.na can REALLY get up and running like it used to, then you'll have "second games" filling up right after the first ones take out most of the invite guys. Usually that "second game" has a lower skill ceiling and doesn't leave that many people out. I think additional population will help solve the fatkidding.
boulderradiumI remember playing medic a few months ago on pug.na. It was a good experience for me outside of a few awful personalities (and if you were smart you knew who to avoid).
I tried to add the other weekend, and the main issue was that there was a lack of captains to start the match. Can anything be done on the admin-side to rectify this issue?
Automatically randomized teams. Or just letting the players choose a team on their own like the way tf2lobby works. You could probably just have players type red or blue after some alert message is sent out...
I think the captain system is fine. I can see randomization going terribly wrong unless the skill sets of the players involved are taken into account.

pug.na USED to be vicious back in the day, but it's become far more welcoming and accepting of new faces.
I'm very curious as to what they'll open the next season with. There are a number of recent events they could use.
tranchemusicradiumI downloaded the map and could not get out of spawn. Am I missing a certain file?
Worked fine for me. You're joining blu and not red, right?
Yup.
