catfacethe companies making the medication were losing profits off of it, so he hiked up the prices so that the companies producing it would actually be making money and could actually keep producing it, and the media blew up over it assuming he was doing it to make tons of money.
you know something tells me that hiking something's price from $13 per tablet to $750 per tablet isn't just for subsistence.
