no point really. other people had better records than me and got lower ranks than me. i think placements HEAVILY favor individual stats. like i had a few games with stupid k:d's like 16:1 and what not so that overruled my losses or something.
i also have lower mmr than people with lower ranks than me.
shits broken.
not sure individual stats even matter, i averaged a kd of about 5 or 6, got over 2k mmr and didnt get death merchant so

Daffodil-jdmIf you direct hit a player with the scorch shot the flare will linger in the air and then fall back down a ways before exploding (it hits twice, basically). In this regard, it remains very valuable to spam chokes/point when coupled with its ability to juggle players with its knock back. Additionally you can switch back to your flamethrower while flares are on CD to reflect/use flames. I think the main reason the detonator is better is that it gives you more mobility and its a lot easier to hit mid-air stuff, but the scorch shot is a lot more versatile than players generally give it credit for.Twiggycrabfi think the only reaosn id ever use scorch shot is to hard counter cliff heavies on viaduct but det is betetr in every single wayIt's better but it requires more aiming when scorch shot is "fire and forget"
and det doesnt do knockback
basically scorch shot is only better when you are jiggle peeking
what daffodil said, if u have ever been hit by the scorch shot twice u would realize that it can do ~100 damage if not extinguished. and that's if you weren't already on fire.
