HOISplitting up a 5cp map into 4 2 point sections and making it territorial control could have a similar effect provided that the round timer was 2 mins and a stalemate was a loss for the team with mid control. I don't think a plugin would be necessary and It could be interesting but potentially just less fun than normal 6s. One issue would be that whichever team begins with mid control would have an obvious advantage and I'm not sure what a good way to fix that would be other than assigning mid control randomly after a last point has been captured or just to to the team that previously lost.

lynaFor classes I personally enjoyed playing all the classes and did medic for a while but maybe the fact that it was always very hard to get a medic in a pug speaks of his role and maybe it deserves to take a look at him from a fundamental level? Yes you can medic but most would agree I think that playing scout, soldier, sniper, (won't speak for demoman because I always thought he had a very high learning curve in competitive and I was always trash at him) tended to be a better experience in pugs where most players were primarily concerned with practicing their own play rather than full on strategy where medics tended to be more important.
i always thought that the reason people dont want to play medic is killing people is fun

cinnamonit's so hard to be confident in your looks when you have acne. i get reminded of it every time i look in the mirror and it makes me feel disgusting
see a dermatologist. i used to have a relatively normal amount of acne for a teenager, and after a few months of treatments i felt a lot better. it sucks and those months will be painful but it's worth it.
