#2 Ruleset Discussion in TF2 General Discussion

I really, really like halftime. It's a great time to decompress, talk over what's going wrong, and prep for a comeback/a strong finish. Correct me if I'm wrong, but euros play 2 maps per week still, right? Considering how much most people seemed to hate prepping for cevo and esea at the same time, I don't see a two map week working out well here, so that break that they get wouldn't be available in NA.

Is there any reason that we couldn't consider something like 2 20 minute halves? 15 minutes for a half seems too short, and 30 minutes for a half with a win difference instead of a win limit is probably too long. I think 20 or 25 minutes would be about right. Matches would take about an hour, and we'd get all the benefits of the EU ruleset as well.

I might make the first post a list of streams from anyone playing in Open of both leagues.

This is a good idea

Blockback is loaded af. CJ was a very good pocket, but tictack is fuckin tictack. They've upgraded at three spots from players who were already pretty strong.

Imo, this move makes them the favorites in the division if they weren't already.

#13 ZOWIE FK1 Review in Hardware

Slightly off topic, but what is the largest zowie mouse? I've heard nothing but good things about the company, so I'd like to support them, but I'm uncomfortable using small mice for extended periods. Big hands, and all.

#52 i52 Media Coverage in TF2 General Discussion

All you'd really need is someone with some basic video editing experience and a computer dedicated to rendering them. The editing can be super minimal.

#50 i52 Media Coverage in TF2 General Discussion

I don't know how feasible this is, or how much editing time you'll have, but it would be really cool if you could make really short videos to use as bumpers to actual commentary/action. Just big plays from matches being played all over i52, not necessarily the matches being casted. Throw some clips over some music and you've got a great way to fill some time and keep people engaged in between live action. Hell, have people bring you their pov demos after their match with a short description.

Live sports broadcasts do this as commercial bumpewrs

I'm looking over rosters and the two things that stick out are how many playoff teams are in danger of an early death or major roster changes and how few really good teams there are.

Open finals will probably be maus trap and sparkle bunnies, with off top and graveguns not too far off. I don't see anyone behind them who will challenge too hard, unless bsc ends up playing pocket. None of these teams would have been top 3 in open last season.
