heksdx 8 is really fucky for most people, some get away with alt tabbing on it and others don't. The only thing I could think of doing is removing -dxlevel 8x from your launch options and checking your config for "mat_dxlevel"

When I'm my desktop menu about to open the tf2 window again, it takes 30-40 seconds to actually load. Could someone help with this? I would appreciate it, thanks :)
