#3 Steam Autumn Sale in Off Topic

Planning on getting the skyrim legendary thing, for 20 bucks seems like a solid deal.
If you don't have binding of Isaac+WOTL I highly recomend it, its usaully like 7$ for the whole thing but its usaully reduced during these sales. (base game is 2.49 instead of 4.99 atm, not sure about expansion which i recomend)
If you don't have CS definitely buy that. The whole pack is 15$ and the games are alot better than most AAA shooters today(looking at call of duty)
And finally, Dark souls is only 10$ atm, if you have a controller its a definite recommendation.

#85 Can someone summarize the drama? in TF2 General Discussion
defiancekirbydefianceMaking a claim that this big CEVO push is going to make the league "ultimately stronger" is pretty hilarious. We should all just throw logic out the window and not think about how splitting up the community might be a bad thing.
This is implying the split would be a long term problem.

And a split isn't necessarily a bad thing. There's no reason in this scenario to look at the negatives of something otherwise positive, which in this case is giving players another, potentially better (in the future) option.
That's cool that you think that and all, but who had their computer shit on because of ESEA? I see a lot of people acting like victims, without any actual evidence that they were harmed by ESEA.

#3 John Carmack leaves id Software in Off Topic

If he left im sure its for a good cause.

ukmThe days where 1 person could code a revolutionary graphics engine are long gone.

Incoming revolutionary oculus stuff hopefully, i'd love to see carmacks name on it.
Other than rage, when is the last time id Software had a large-scale project?

#39 ESEA and CEVO in TF2 General Discussion

Since the malware uncovering, there are going to be people that are such security freaks that they just wont play ESEA in fear of damaging their precious computer, in which they payed more for than they will probably ever win in TF2 unless your top invite.

#60 Pros and Cons of NA League choices in TF2 General Discussion
BurnDLWe have one choice. ESEA. Or we could close shop and end Comp. TF2.

esea isnt the pinnacle of competitive tf2, more so the friends you play with and the friends you play against.
Just from knowing alot of teams in iron, its incredible to talk about the roster changes and the shennanigans that happen exclusively in UGC Iron, something that takes little to no skill level at all to play, and most of the teams in high iron would continue playing regardless of esea closing or not, im sure every other divison in ugc can support this statement as well. Even at such a low level of skill so much happens, and its actually fun.

Don't count out the entirety of competitive TF2 just if esea passes its round, theres enough to keep the dream going lad.

#269 meatshot 8) vol. 5 in TF2 General Discussion
Flavapuffreaching out to something like QuakeCON.

Honestly, If Nahanni pulled through and we(by we, i mean people with relevance in the tf2 community) could talk to the guys at quakecon that would be a win/win.
Wouldnt tf2 get more competitive eXposure if it was hosted at something like quakecon as well?

#126 The ESEA abuse thread in TF2 General Discussion

I beleive you guys are fighting more over which league has a LAN instead of focusing on the fact that ESEA backdoor'd every single computer that installed the client. If your willing to have all your information leeched into the moneyhungry E$EA's already gargantuan database, power to you.
I'll be looking forward to getting shit on in CEVO next season, met alot of people and got alot of opinions that i value greatly.
