a while ago i was playing comp mm with my friends and we ran into a 6-group of hackers. they all had similar meme-names and they had a scout, 2 direct hits, 2 snipers, and a lochnload. they had spinbots and projectile aimbot

we got matched against them 3 times in a row and funnily enough we won 1 (or 2? idk) of those games cuz they were terrible players despite hacks and we used vaccinator lol

i just saw it... i'd say its more about whether the you and your gf like horror or not than whether you're interracial or whatever. everyone already understands racism/stereotypes, theres nothing triggering, it's amusing and serves as a buildup for the horror and plot of the story.

any interracial couple already knows all about that, i dont think it'd awkward. i think it's a bit funny/tropish

what's bad about mge/dm? i know sometimes there are annoying people on an arena but i just get on a different one or leave the server if badlands mid is hosting a heavy v heavy or something. i play the opposite of "gay" in mge but i feel like im annoying people sometimes...maybe. i just play scout and occasionally jump on crates, sometimes i play ammomod and i do jump but i have to jump as a scout v soldier in ammomod.

also its cool to see quick active admins, that namechange was quick

My life got pretty bad over the past year: i run track and ive been training to get a scholarship to a good running college but i've had terrible injuries and accidents ever since august last year. i got shin splints that turned into a stress fracture and i missed alot of mileage because of it. then when it healed and i was finally running again then i randomly stepped on a hidden piece of sharp metal/glass on the beach and i had to get stitches on the bottom of my foot... couldnt run while it healed. Now i was finally running well and getting fast but my shins started hurting again and it got worse and worse and now they hurt too much to take a running step... track is over in 2 months so my last season is pretty much wasted. i might still get a scholarship but it wont be a d1 team. makes me really sad because i dreamed of running d1 in college and my dream is basically ruined now.

LOL i totally feel ya dude. tf2 is so fun and i wish i could play more, i havent played for a month now cuz of school/busy stuff. for me playing mge + pugs + badwater pubs are fun. its all fun

EDIT: ALSO on a lighter note a small thing that bothers me is my tftv name, the N is captial and i'd like it to be lowercase: "nexu" who can i talk to for that?

I get great frames in tf2 now (300-400 in busy server) and at least 80 in The Division.

Building a pc really did turn out to be easy, especially cuz the cases usually have clear instructions and markings for the parts on them; it's like building legos. Even overclocking is pretty simple. Thanks alot for steering me away from the path of buying a prebuilt pc, building from scratch was the best decision I made dude

Why does no one else seem to get this? "Is scout too strong?" Scout has been the same FOREVER. Not one thing has changed (except the boston basher and winger). If you use gunboats does it occur to you that it's going to be harder to kill scouts? That plus the demo nerf (which I don't think buffed scouts too much, it buffed soldiers imo because of the air det spam and denying spire and such) and the medic buff make scout in a position to be very strong.

Medics can heal scouts way better than they used to be able to, scout ubers are strong af now and they weren't a thing before, and now people usually run gunboats pocket which makes scout even more powerful...

I wish the demo nerf and maybe the medic buff were reverted but you have to make an effort to counter the new power that the current meta gives scouts before you can complain about scout being too strong.

I was trying to present the facts while also saying that I could definitely learn it and manage it.

I do understand the mechanics of each 6s map, when to push and what I can get away with. I've watched dozens of demos as well, I know when it's important to, for example, make sure the enemy med doesn't live thru a push or when the match is already lost because our demo died on gullywash last etc.
With someone calling out plays to me I know I could do well. I can switch from combo to flank quickly.

Also the reason I put high open is because from mge/lobbies with regulars or my friends I'm told that my dm is at that level.

I'm considering playing comp this season (esea open high, ugc plat)

I can scrim weekdays after 6pm (west coast time) and usually any time on weekends.
I'm mgeing or playing lobbies usually, my aim is consistent.
Only looking to play scout, if a team needs me to sub roamer for a bit then they're probably not a good team because my projectile/prediction is poor. I could improve my soldier/demo if I practiced it, but I'd rather practice hitscan.

I don't have a ton of experience in past seasons, started playing a lot more after I got a new pc in the summer of 2016 (I was on a old mac laptop and, I kid you not, played with less than 30 fps). With 144hz and 300+ fps aiming is much easier, people are easy to track, everyone moves alot slower and it's almost too easy to hit shots.
