This is a complete misunderstanding of how corporate decisionmaking works
If Amazon could have gotten away with firing all their fulfillment center workers they would’ve done so already, the only potential reasons they haven’t are a) they haven’t developed the technology to do it fully yet, b) doing so would cost too much money up front, or c) they want to be able to keep being able to use the job creation narrative to justify the massive government subsidies and 0 taxes that they have
More labor power, regulations, and potentially even breaking up companies as large as Amazon will always be a net positive, they aren’t keeping those jobs going purely out of the kindness of their heart
