-protoAm I the only one that thinks this is kinda fucked? Like why is game chat even included in logs? Seems a bit dystopian that this is even possible. My number is pretty low so I don’t really care but it’s just weird. Most of us grew up playing this game starting at an early age. People change.
it would be fucked if people were being more hyperbolic over it, but I haven't seen a single person have their tf2 'career' derailed by this like the pedo stuff or something
there are a couple people who go way overboard with the no-no's but I think everyone knew who those guys were already (and, frankly, they probably don't get ENOUGH grief for the way they act), so it's not like this script led to people becoming pariahs or anything

figsyi'm willing to bet no one shit talking tresh has actually played with him on a team
he's good at the game and a good teammate what more do you want
maybe outside of tf2, but within the game this is not true. every time i watch tresh's stream he's constantly berating his team and generally being toxic. mind u, almost all of what he says is only directed to his stream chat and he doesn't dare tell any of his grievances to his team. it's abundantly apparent that when ur playing with tresh u can expect him to give upwards of 60% of his attention to actually playing the game and the rest will be spent complaining about u to his chat.
that being said, mechanically he's basically the bar for low advanced thanks to 5 ping. outside of tf2 he seems like a swell guy but he is one of the last people that i would ever play on a team with just because he approaches the game in such an nonconstructive way. if he fixed this i'm sure he'd been fine, but for the time being i wouldn't recommend playing with him.
