coyo_geezervery true, i got peer pressured out of using it when i first started and i wish i hadnt been. plenty of people played with it in tf2 and like dont most quake duelers use it ? the only thing i think causes an issue is playing on a different setup at lan windows accel could behave slightly different ?
you see, this is weird to me because I a) totally understand why you'd use mouse accel in an arena-style shooter and b) have never personally seen people mocking it
but if that's the case then that's def dumb in a game like tf2

Board: duck orion v2.5 in silver
Plate: alu
Switches: retooled blacks with 205g0
Stabilizers: durock v2s, 205g0 on the housings and xht-bdz on the wires
Keycaps: GMK 9009
like: the game, the stubborn refusal of the community to let it die, volunteers who put in effort especially the ones who don't go mad with a tiny amount of power
dislike: pocket scouts, outsized influence of circlejerks, how impossible it is to find good tryhard practice outside of scrims especially in the post-b4nny pugchamp era

okyaaaYou'd have the ESEA issue again.
sandbagging was massively overblown as an issue in ESEA, I still maintain this
the man could make you laugh reading the phone book, something about the conviction in his delivery was just perfect

im moving to table 4, they have the most interesting conversation
fuckin RIP, his roast of bob saget never fails to cheer me up
glassi don't think any of you actually watch jay
his impact with the market gardener comes from getting free kills in chaos fights when players have to look at habib or they'll die
he gets his share of med picks/drops but those are easier to guard against through positioning and anticipation. on the other hand it's impossible to stop him from getting free quick kills in team fights
fun to watch tho
I actually came in to say this, a lot of what jay's been doing more recently is waiting til people are turned, I remember scrimming froyo and trying to hold process last and he waited until I HAD to turn to watch the point to jump in and spoon me
the ultimate answer to this or any related question (people raging, people not trying, people not going out of their way to improve upon their weaknesses) is that tf2 is a tiny game and the player pool is small enough that you have to put up with a lot of shit just to cobble teams together
plus it's not like we have any infrastructure like coaching or ownership or sports psychologists to help with any of this shit, teams have to solve their own problems often with 6 relatively immature individuals failing to empathize with one another
and yet they will still lap NA in league for the next 500 years
