idk how you can say this, like do you honestly think yuki would pick up someone who was anything less than completely deserving of playing for his team?
clearly you haven't seen gnat play or know, like smith said how committed hes been to the game.
I'm glad to see the horde of aussies descend on me for sharing my opinion of a player's skill, knowing nothing about how great of a guy said person is (which is completely irrelevant)
this is the team that went to i49 with antwa, and played with bulk on medic for like a month before the season, it's not like every single decision has been flawless
plus, there are like 0 roamers in au so even if this was the best possible option that doesn't guarantee anything
its not that at all, you posted something which is just completely untrue.
of course it doesn't guarantee everything, but you simply stating "gnat is pretty bad" in your op would naturally result in people saying he isn't.
how good someone is is relevant
when I say "gnat is pretty bad", take it as "gnat is pretty bad if these guys want to beat jasmine tea/do well at i58"
in that context, I fail to see how it's "completely untrue"

from what ive seen, gnat is pretty bad but the roster change was sick overall, because a) yuki is an upgrade on scout and b) now termo is pocket demoing and just slaying
and as for the gnat point, pudddy is basically the only roamer in au so I dont really blame them

I don't see a lot of people mentioning squid, kiler4funn, tagg, cyzer, ma3la, rr, relic, etc. list goes on and on

aside from the concept of even including hl being sort of laughable (see: b4nny never winning it), harbleu only won hl once all the actual good hl teams quit
Was it S16, S13, or S10 after all the good teams quit, because there were very good teams in all those seasons. B4nny has come in 3rd a couple of times, and I think 2nd at least once.
Sidenote, when did you become this enlightened anti-HL player. After what, 6 seasons of leading teams to absolute failure and being so proud of that weekend tournament you won. Either way it's a game-type in TF2.
s10 was a summer season with basically 0 good teams
s13 was MAYBE the last decent season of hl (sorta pushing it) but they got to play legendary chokers ET in the finals
s16 was well after all the good teams quit
I was under the assumption that everyone who knows anything about tf2 is, to some degree, an anti-HL player
I'm sure I'd convince myself of that too if I started getting 1st place medals immediately afterwards
